I talked to Brian Lenzo yesterday. Looks like he’s doing a buffet for us for brunch at Blue Palms. He’ll have a bartender so it’ll be business as usual as far as the beer goes. Flights, pints, what ever they normally sell.

More Berliner making an appearance...this time it’s a lowly Pennsylvaniaweiss, though.

I’m bringing down a keg of High Water Berliner Reisse. Should also have a keg of brandy barrel doppelsticke and something fun from Drake’s.

NorCal keg update: I got the two High Water kegs mentioned above. Steve Altimari asks that we help him name the Brandy Barrel Doppelsticke. Drake’s gave me a keg of ’One Candle’, a soured Belgian pale aged in Cab Franc barrels. Almanac is kicking in a couple cases of their seasonal releases.

Since it was for the first anniversary and it’s a "doppel", how about: One Sticke, Two Sticke. Along the lines of the Dr. Suess classic: One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish.

That’s really generous of those breweries - THANKS!

google map of RB places for SD/LA: http://bit.ly/O8VFmt

for those with iphones, I highly recommend this free app which allows you to paste in a google maps URL to display the full customized map, much more useful than the standard red icon in the default google maps app: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/my-maps-editor/id389114621?mt=8

Parking at the hotel is $24. If anyone knows of nearby cheaper locations please post.
