I’d go

1)Pilsner
2)helles
3)dortmunder
4)kolsch

2/3are pretty dang close and the dortmunder is really a standout for the style IMO. The pils is (obviously) the best. Appropriate bitterness and beautiful malt character behind the hops. Helles is also freaking great- so pillowy and soft. Nothing wrong with the kolsch mind you, simply that it’s at the bottom of the pile as far as my preferences are concerned.

Yes. Agreed. They put a lot of work / effort into this one.

Is the pils a new beer? I generally like Schell’s but find their normal pils to be poor.

For anyone still looking, there’s a couple of cases left in the cooler at Liquor Boy SLP.

Do we know if the pils is a new recipe, or the helles?

Last year they put Fort Road Helles in a sampler. I asked Schells on their Book of faces page, i will update if I get an answer.
