Maybe this fact escaped your attention but in fact, RateBeer European Summer Gathering 2017 participants need to decide what kind of beer will be brewed by Sori Brewing on July 22nd in Tallinn - during Grand Tasting. Let’s try to figure that out in a few next days. First question is about the style - should it be lager, stout or IPA?

IPA was chosen, so now its time to choose what kind of IPA will it be. Options are following:

- 70 % Pale
- 30 % Wheat
[ 6,5 % Rye IPA ]
75 % Pale
15 % Rye
7 % Munich
3 % Cara Pale
[ 8,5 % Double IPA ]
90 % Pale
7 % Munich
3 % Cara Pale

Collective Dregs of the Grand Tasting Brett IPA? |
Hi again!
Things are getting more interesting now. Voting for IPA’s type ended up with a tie between Rye IPA and Double IPA (5-5-2). So upon consulting with Sori, we took the liberty to combine these two types - so we will be having a Double Rye IPA, 8.5%
Next thing will be hops and twists. These are the options:
1. Single hop Ekuanot
2. Belma and Calypso hops & Cherry wood chip ageing
3. NZ Hops: Rakau & Pacifica
4. Coffee infused IPA with Calypso hops
