Is see you rate St bernardus 47th place an west vleteren first. Do you know its the samen recipe ? Bernardus , Westvleteren is just a hype !

I think I actually preferred the Bernardus abt 12 over the Westveleteren 12. I know the 2 breweries were tied together a while back at Sixtus but I thought since splitting they each had their own recipe. Someone with better info will chime in.

I’ve heard they add meat glue to the finished product for authentic bar ambiance.

It’s the same recipe other than the ingredients and the yeast and the way its made. MODS, please alias these beers. Also, please make the OP a mod too.
