We are gonna keep it simple this year. Just chips and dip. Probably a couple of sour cream based dips and several hummus dips. We will have about 6 different kinds of chips with these. Anyone got any creative recipes for dips? What are y’all snacking on?

Made this many times, and it always turns out great...

I like using fresh chorizo in it in addition to the sweet Italian sausage, and I use more spinach also. Very tasty.

The girlfriend is gonna make seven layer dip. I don’t have her recipe handy, but there are plenty of varieties of this online.

Chili cookoff...about 15 or 20 chilis. Im bringing my own toilet paper.

Honey lime chicken wings.

Now season like this for each dozen wings. Juice and zest of one lime, 1-2 tbsp of honey,3 small garlic cloves minced, scant 1/2 tsp coriander, 1/2 tsp salt, black pepper and lots of it coarsely ground.

Coat chicken and marinate. Bake in a preheated 450 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Keep brushing with the glaze while cooking and they are done when golden brown and crispy on the outside. Garnish with chopped peanuts & lime wedges.

Wouldn’t be great if the Raven’s played some down and dirty football and shut down San Fran before they win in a blowout?

I make a chili sauce with anchos, chipotles, crushed tomatoes , shallots, garlic , cider vinegar, and smoked paprika. I just mix a few tablespoons of that into cream cheese, and it works perfectly as a dip.
