Good: - The beer, obviously - Not too crowded (until the seating area was evacuated) - The food (except the portion sizes, they were much too small) Bad: - No possibility to wash your hands (I could not believe this, and I am sure this is against several rules and laws in most countries when serving food and drink) - Inadequate glass rinsing possibilities - The drinking water (it is a joke to drink bottled water in Denmark, both environmentally and economically. But I am sure the organisers made some money from it) In conlusion, good. And the things I find problematic could actually be solved with decent toilet facilities.

S&B: no directions for the stuff in the bag. No seats available. One of the pizza Port beers was said to be "out" when the festival began. Flaming hot ribs in your hand. I didn’t even know there were other stations with food since there was no announcements or directions whatsoever even though there was a microphone hooked up. ??? CBC: Amazed. Totally well run 100%. I was a bit pissed that none of our Struise team got food on Saturday since they ran out and we weren’t given food times. Also no glass washing stations. All that was needed was a single bar sparkler to spray upside down. Overall they were both amazing. I was super stoked to attend and couldn’t ask for anything more.

Farmers Cabinet / Cabinet Artisinal is the new project from the former brewer (Terry) at Bullfrog. They are really starting to get their beers out there.

I went to CBC on Friday and thought that the event was quite well run. The venue was perhaps a bit too small for the crowd after the seating areas were cleared out for dinner, and they were cleared out quite early in my opinion. It would have been nice to have some seating areas located outside the dinner area as well. It was also a bit annoying to go outside all the time to wash your glass. And I too was secretly hoping for some rarer beers from the US breweries. Besides those minor issues, I can’t really find anything else to complain about. Well run festival with some amazing beers and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back next year, if it’s organized again.

Was not at Sour & Bitter (spent the day at Copenhagen Beer Festival at Tap 1), but was at the CBC Friday and Saturday. My suggestions for improvement next year, if the CBC is to be repeated at all: 1) Arrange the CBC at dates that cannot possibly collide with the "normal" period / dates for the CBF. 2) No fixed food menu / dinner, go in stead for food counters. The hotdog counter was great (with the minor exception of flaked gold on a hotdog variety - that is just silly), but e.g. a cheese counter would be a welcome addition. Good quality burgers too. Then people can buy food at any time, when or if they are hungry. This would leave the seating area available at all times (which is essential!) 3) Like others have said: Water dispensers for glass cleaning is a must, and proper toilets (which are kept clean) and proper hand washing with soap is essential.

I thought it was great that you could visit two beer festivals on a same weekend, so I’m hoping that CBC is arranged at the same time as CBF next year too.

Pleased that it was a succesful festival. Ken your European festival reputation is still there. Long may taht continue.

Based on what I’ve heard from my friends who attended, Sour & Bitter was fantastic. A visit to Copenhagen has taken a huge leap upward on my bucket list.

i didn’t think they food serving method was odd at Sour & Bitter. I quite enjoyed it, actually, though I repeat the comment about the stuff in the bag, I had no clue and lost it, but didn’t care. CBC was fine. I like the mix of low and mid-strength beer with the bruisers available. people were awesome.
