Anyway, decided to do a little blending and did 2/3 of the new Ally Kat Pumpkin Pie with 1/3 Old Yale Sasquatch Stout. A really nice, roasted, spicy pumpkin stout. These 2 beers really work well together.

Message pintbypint beers 4327 º places 35 º 17:34 Sun 9/9/2012 Bayreuther Bio-Weisse. Not super exicitng, but it is a well done hefe. Doesn’t quite stand up to Ayinger, Paulaner or Weihenstephaner or Maisel’s but worth trying. Its softer and drier than I was expecting. Might do some Evil Twin Disco after this.

Message DuffMan beers 10981 º places 349 º 21:58 Mon 9/10/2012 I broke out a Westy 12 alongside a 3 year aged St. Bernie 12. The Bernie kicked its ass IMO (everyone around the table agreed, although only one was a beer geek too). I’m liking the Westy, but I’ve laid down six and plan to drink them in years to come. I think they will help me achieve transendence.
