I’ll be stopping by Setting Sun and possibly Little Miss this evening (hopefully).

This place http://www.ratebeer.com/brewers/helix-brewing-company/28386/] in La Mesa had been open a year without any beers being added. Pretty chill place with decent ass beers.

In one shopping center there are 2 Kids, Setting Sun, Pacific (closed), and eventually Protector/Warrior and across the street in the next shopping center pretty soon there will be Thunderhawk Alements and Serpentine Cider. That makes at least 20 breweries along Miramar between 15 and 805 on that 5 mile stretch.

Stopped at both Setting Sun and Little Miss yesterday. Both have 4 draft offerings currently.

Setting Sun had this watermelon sake that was absolutely #juice insane and apparently like 13% ABV. No clue how to add sakes to the database though, so imma wait for someone else to do it.

I think that one was my favorite, despite being a modest 13%, should have chugged a pint of one of the 16% ones

Dragons Tale Brewing is starting their soft opening in Montclair this weekend.

That area now has a bit of a (brew)pub crawl with Rok House, Dale Bros, Claremont Craft Ales, and now Dragons Tale.

Don’t know how much this has hit distribution in bottles/draft, but Rodenbach Alexander was on tap at 38 Degree Ale House in Alhambra last night.
