Urbn St. Brewery is shutting down. Sounds like the spot will still be open but the brewing equipment will be sold.

Who wants to be the first person to visit Daryl’s couch in Camarillo? Apparently a great place to satisfy the urge for great beer in a comfortable environment.

Fairly succinct place rating that does not really tell me a damned thing. I mean, how many couches does Darryl have? And why is the picture of a pool table and not a couch?

This could probably go in either of the CA metros but there’s a new brewery in the process of opening in Orcutt / Santa Maria called Naughty Oak. Currently contracting through Rooney’s, which is just down the street, but he’s got a building and is waiting on ABC/TTB/etc. No idea how far along he is with building the actual brewery but in any case some of his beers will be around town.

Kind of interesting that the little unincorporated town of Orcutt with 35,000 people will be opening it’s third brewery soon (sorta, since Orcutt Brewing closed a few years back).

Resident Brewing is active and is slowly releasing beers.
