Originally posted by after4ever on draft, it was still very good. It was on tap at Brouwers in the past year. |
I actually enjoyed it out of the bottle more so than the draft. My first ever experience with it was within the last two years, so I’m not a good person to provide any comparison, on how it has held up. |

Originally posted by beastiefan2k I’m not sure why that’s relevant. Bruery Bottleworks XII was released more than once, and available through their reserve society the second time. ( http://www.thebruery.com/type/reserve-society-exclusive/) Stone Bottleworks 13 was released only once, but was available across the country ( http://www.stonebrewing.com/blog/beer/2012/bottleworks-13th-anniversary-ale-stone-brewing-co#ageGatePassed) Both of these are clearly Bottleworks beers, but neither was exclusive to Bottleworks, and one has been rebrewed. (I still think HotD Matt should be on this list: http://bottleworksbeerstore.blogspot.com/2009/02/bottleworks-10th-anniversary.html. Also, the description on HotD’s webpage also notes that it was originally brewed for Bottleworks tenth anniversary.) |
Andre! thats an easy one. I dont even have to look it up. |
Originally posted by Prufrockstar I mostly agree and I am not trying to be the arbitrator of what deserves to be on list and what doesn’t. I am pretty sure anyone can add the tags. For the Monkfish, I just want to make sure it wasn’t brewed 10 times and only one of those mentioned Bottleworks on it. |
I think the fresh Monkfish was brewed regularly for some time, but the BA was produced in far less quantity, maybe only once. |
Originally posted by beastiefan2k As far as I know, the BA version was originally done for Bottleworks. They have since done the Monkfish, and I know I have had non-BA Monkfish, but as to whether they have continued with the BA version at another time I don’t believe so. I would need to check with Vern. |
