Busy brewpub with a bit of a chain-like vibe. About a dozen beers on tap... most were at least decent, but a couple were quite good. Very good nachos and pizza. The rest of the food coming out of the kitchen looked great too.
This place was totally packed on a Saturday for lunch, get there early. Fun place with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, good place for kids. They offer a sampler but they pick they 10, so thatís kind of a bummer. Overall, the ipas were ok, but everything else was just meh. The food was very strong, especially the pizza which had perfect thin crust that still held its form. Come to eat, not as beer destination.
Ended up going here because Crux was packed. I donít always feel good about supporting 10 Barrel due to the AB-InBev connection, and yet, I canít say that Iíve ever had a bad experience here (or at the Portland location). The food here is really good, especially after a long hike, and the beer is excellent - especially the sours. Value is merely OK, but then again, probably the norm for Bend. Service was really good, and this place is really comfortable with a surfer vibe by the bar, a comfortable patio, and a kid-friendly dining area. Itís really nice; I just wish theyíd cast off the overseers so I could feel better about visiting more often.
A nice, cozy brewpub with big outdoor area and decent indoor space. Was a bit crowded by 6pm on a Saturday, but hey, thatís great for business! Service was fast and friendly, and seemed to know about the beer. Great selection of plenty of different styles, including a ten beer flight if youíre interested. Even though itís now AB-InBev, it doesnít feel any different than your local small town brewpub, which is nice.
Wow awesome place. Exceeded expectations in every way. Hung out in the bar area, several small taster pours, exceptional sours and a freaking awesome BBQ chicken pizza with bacon and pineapple. What a cool place. Would certainly stop by again.
Seems to be very popular and it was extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon. We waited maybe 20 minutes to get a table. It was inside but there was no wall next to it and it was very warm and sunny weather so it basically felt like being outside. Very tasty beers, decent food and minimal service. Kid and dog friendly. Very hard to find a parking space. We had to park two blocks away in a residential area.
This is an interesting entry for me. The good: this is one hell of a place. Open garage doors on a hot day, lots of outdoor space. Excellent top notch service. Lots of really good beer. The food is excellent. Basically, this place kicks ass. The bad: nothing. The ugly: yes, this place is owned by AB. Imagine paying someone money to call you a dick and to try to make your favorite hobby or dare I say lifestyle go away. Now, donít imagine that you are some oddball who likes being treated like shit and youíll see the quandary. Yes, this place is epic. The beer is good especially. But it feels dirty, and really it is dirty. People will characterize it all differently but the reality is that AB campaigns off putting craft beer down while buying up cool local places like this. Sadly, 10 Barrel isnít really local anymore than a local Wal-Mart is.
