This brewery is tucked away in another industrial park along Mira Mesa a bit off the road but relatively easy to find. The space is large and open with the brewing operations on display. There is a small bar and some tables, seemingly adequate for a decent crowd. They offered several beers on tap and chips for purchase, but no other food.

Signs at the street says they open at noon. We got there at around 1:30, only to find out they did not open until 4 pm. How about changing that sign? Revisited and found some quite nice beers in a rather big tasting room.

A huge garage with loads of open space to expand. Their beers were decent, but nothing special yet. There are better breweries in the area, but this was a nice place to end a Miramar beer tour.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon to run through a flight of the 12 beers they had on tap. Typical warehouse tasting room set up, with cornhole, some other games, bar seating, and table seating. Beers were pretty good, it seems based on some of the previous reviews that they are improving and dialing in their recipes. Pretty chill place to hang out in a group, and worth stopping at if you’re doing the Miramar brewery tour.

Tuesday night. 3 other patrons were there. Service was really good, the beertender was a super nice guy. The beers were all over the place: The sour beers were fantastic. The Gose I tried was light and bubbly. The Berliner Weisse was nice and super tart. The hoppy beers were quite honestly poor. Flavors were off and not really pleasing on the palate. The coffee stout on nitro was pleasant. With a few tweaks I think this place can be a top tier brewery - for now, it’s not quite there, but it is worth a visit if you are in the area visiting other breweries.

Visited on a Thursday evening. Good location for tickers as it’s close to a bunch of other breweries. I was impressed with the size of the place. Very large and cavernous with a wrap around bar that seats at least 20 and more seating throughout the tasting area. Kind of an industrial, cold feel. I have to say the service was very good. Very friendly servers who took time to discuss the beers despite being pretty busy. Prices were average to a bit high. As for the beer, well, I was shocked they were doing such brisk business because the quality was abysmal. They only had five beers on tap and after three tasters, none of which I could finish, I cut my loses and left. In their defense, the girl behind the bar said that they were in the middle of moving to a new location and that was why they only had five beers on at the time. Maybe that has something to do with the beers being off as well, I don’t know. Either way, it seems others have had better experiences with the beer, so I guess I just hit them at a bad time. Hopefully they get more consistent, because they seem to have a decent following and some potential.

Part of a whirlwind San Diego tour with t0rin0. This place is in an industrial area. A big roll-up garage was up, allowing a beautiful view of a parking lot. Inside the place is pretty cool. An explorer / adventurer theme. Beers were pretty good.

This place is not far from Alesmith or the new Ballast Point location in Miramar. It’s also freaking huge. A lot of dead space here which was made to feel more empty by the fact that almost no one else was in the brewery during our visit on a Saturday afternoon/evening.

Has sort of an industrial feel to the tasting room and the branding. I guess it works. L-shaped bar and plenty of space to hang out in. As mentioned...not sure they really need it, though.

They had a pretty good number of beers (nine during our visit), but other than the coconut mild which was just flavored to death, most of the beers here were pretty bad, including a few downright awful ones.

With so many other options around that are so much better, I don’t know that I’d bother to come back.

Big L shaped bar and plenty of seating in the brewery. Lots of barrels around the brewery. Great service and good solid beer.
