A small, cellar-like shop between the Plein and the city hall, ABC Beers is very well-stocked with a good range. We visited for a pre-Borefts beer tasting and received a great welcome by Dean, the owner. Highly recommended.

Visited for a tasting on 24/09/15.
Small shop with a great selection of NL beers and others from around Europe. Prices were good and Deanso was quick to point out the Black IPA’s. Shame he has moved on.

This place was even better than having a couple of bisexual 20 year old hotties turn up at your front door, but unlike the former this ACTUALLY existed outside of the Internet!
A great new beer shop in the centre of Den Haag and perhaps the only local shop where you can buy quality beer.
They specialise in Dutch beers and they have a wide selection of beers that you simply won’t find in many other places. However, there are also good selection of beers from Mikkeller and I believe they plan to stock plenty of other quality non-Dutch beers too.
It’s nice to have somewhere local to buy De Molen beers instead of having to make the treck to Bodegraven! There’s also a nice selection of excellent value beers from Emelisse.
Go and check out Arkwright and Granville for a completely new "beer buying experience".
Stopped by Dean’s for the first time yesterday but I’ll certainly be back. I’m rating this place to say that this is the first place you should visit upon arriving in Den Haag. Firstly, it is super conveniently located right next to Den Haag Centraal. Second, There will be a really good selection of Dutch microbrews waiting for you at very reasonable prices as well as some expert advice on everything beer related in the shop and around town. A must for any visitor.

Fabulous selection of Dutch beers. Very knowledgable owner. Good prices.
Nice little shop with quite a selction of Dutch beers. Meanwhile I had an interest in English beers and Dean was kind enough to help me out adding a few new beers to my list. Great guy and place, will return for sure.
Been looking forward to this one, as I’ve known Dean since before and he is a great guy .
The fact you know him, makes rating ’service’ irrelevant . we all know he is a knowing guy, with passion for beer .
He actually was able to tell which beers I should / should not ( perhaps even more important ) buy, by knowing me and my ratings . THAT is service !
Dean opened his shop for it to be thrashed by internationnal beergeeks . Upon getting perhaps a bit drunk, we discovered the amazing amount of bottles that have been stocked up , in this very , very little place . some of them are OK ( karmeliet, deus, ... the easy ones ) yet some of them are specials ( BA emelisse , some US stuff , ... ) all at very fair prices . Keep in mind though , this is a ’tourist’shop , not a warehouse, so prices might be found lower elsewhere. yet compare it with other shops of this kind, and this is sharp-priced . I love it . Its not perfect, but hey, what is ?
