Pretty typical NW pub vibe in here. Stopped in for a lunch with the family on a whim. The food is so-so but the beer was pretty fun. Canít say it ranks among my top 20 here in PDX but itíll do in a pinch.

I stopped in during a brewery crawl of the neighborhood. The sampler offered six brews for seven bucks. A good selection of regular beers and special rotating brews, too. Service was quick and friendly. Warehouse decor. The booths are neat to look at but uncomfortable to sit in. A decent spot but nothing too exciting.

Visited on 11th November 2014. Nicely decorated venue with a good mix of seating and some nice booths. Brewing kit is also visible. 10 beers on tap and tasters available for all of them. We ploughed through the range and it was decent enough without being great. Service and prices good. Not a bad spot but not the best in PDX

Pretty cool place with a long bar and plenty of seating. You can order a flight of 6 for $7, a steal. Very friendly service. Beer quality is pretty decent, with a few standouts. Itís a bit out of the way, but if you have a car, this is a worthwhile second tier place.

Visited on Saturday afternoon, 4/9. Not really much different than the previous times Iíve been here - itís still a wide open space which tries to collide a warehouse feel in the back with wood tones in the front. It doesnít work, and every time Iím here, I feel uncomfortable for that reason alone. And I felt generally uncomfortable otherwise, because even though it was fairly slow, I didnít feel like the staff had much interest in being there. Somewhat understandable on a nice day, but since I was only getting a flight - and was therefore not a mark for a big tip - I didnít exactly get the five star treatment. I have had the food before, and itís pretty good, but I generally avoid this place, and nothing about my last visit changed my mind.

Nice place with relatively poor beer choice. Real brewery, making brewing continuously. Some of their beers are pretty good, but also several just average. Consider as local brewpub.

Visited on Tuesday 11/11/14 around 4pm. The venue was fairly quiet when we arrived but business began to pick up as dinner time neared. The place is a medium sized venue with a tall ceilingm slab floor and metallic toppings on the tables. On the right as you enter are some fairly swanky booths, surrounded by tall wood backing. Large hessian rugs adorn the walls above these booths depicting brewing related patterns such as barley and hops. Brewing kit also visible. Beer wise there were 10 on tap, all available in tasters. Service was prompt and friendly. Beers were adequate but no greats, my ratings averaged at 3.07 which puts these guys above the mom and pop diner brewpubs but a fair distance short of the better ones. Columbia River where I visited beforehand averaged at 3.34. Overall a nice facility but the beers were pretty mediocre. Not a go to venue but if in the area and time allows why not.

Brewpub/restaurant quite a ways down Fremont St. Fairly quiet on an early Thursday evening. Mixed crowd, a bit older than many beer places in PDX. Light rock on sound system, news on TV. Sort of fuzzy industrial look: cinder block, shiny metal siding, and warm blonde wood. Extensive menu of pub stuff. Sampler set: six 3-oz. glasses for $7, choice of eight regulars, three seasonals, and one on nitro. Beer is okay, with a couple of pleasant surprises.
