An odd space in the second floor of a shopping plaza. More restaurant than brewery, they do have tons of taps and cheap flights. We were at last call so I can't say much, but the beer was a mediocre at best.

This upstairs brewpub has nice ocean views in a comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed a few house beers here but no food, though it looked quite good. The service was a little aloof.

Awesome view of the beach, shame weather was bad and had to sit inside, enough variety of beers, music was good, loved the records covers above the bar. Hot sunny day would be nice

Visited on a Wednesday evening. Very busy. Beautiful location overlooking the beach. Nice selection of their own brews and many guest taps. The two Amplified selections I had were very good. Friendly staff. Food is excellent. Kebabs very tasty. Falefal and salads. Very nice overall. Dog friendly.

Vue sur l’océan, bières maisons correctes, cuisine relativement élaborée et ambiance lumineuse. La liste de fûts invités est brève mais qualitative. Un arrêt intéressant dans le coin.

This was a tough place to find as the listing originally did not say anything about the California Kebab restaurant. Eventually found it by just wandering around the strip mall. It’s up stairs where you can see the California Kebab sign from the street (also just a short walk from PB Ale House). Seat yourself and order at the bar kind of place. Food is kebab plates, sandwiches, etc., obviously. They had three house beers and a host of respectable guest taps. Kind of a cramped location, but we found a spot inside at a table, patio seating available as well. House beers were just okay. They do flights of all the beers, so that’s cool. Prices are pretty decent as well.

> An impossible to find secret restaurant hiding as a kebab joint but somehow it is also Amplified Ale Works.

500th place rating. Very hard to find secret restaurant that houses a jerry-rigged small barrel brewing system that is spilling out on the main dining area. Sort of no interior decorating theme with a sushi bar feel plus order at the front kebabs (?) with a fire pit on the patio. Very few Amplified beers on tap, 3 I think. Other beers were harder to find stuff local beers. Quest tap from Ritual was better than the Amplified offerings. Though their guava saison was decent. Overall, I’d go here for kebabs and then tick of a couple of Amplied Ale Works beers. This is not a good place to go if you are after some major ticking. With that said, it was a popular place despite its hidden location so they are obviously doing something right.

Visited December 7, 2013.

I was just up the street at PB Ale House a month ago and didn’t realize that this place was here. The two places are walking distance. They’re also in a great area. This place is part of the California Kebab and Beer Garden which is on the second story of a strip mall. It’s a small 3 bbl brewery stuffed into a smallish restaurant with a great view (on the back patio) overlooking the ocean. The food is decent but nothing special. The house beers were alright, but they only had two on tap. The biere de garde was nice. The blonde was OK. I bought a bottle of their barrel aged quad to go. They also have a lot of guest beers to pick from. The employees were all very nice.

They just bought some 7 bbl tanks and plan to brew more house beers so I may stop back in but over all the restaurant is just decent and it’s in a strip mall.
