My wife and I stopped by on our way home on a Sunday and this was about the only "brew/pub" open for lunch close by. I was a little disappointed to learn they don’t brew on premise, but was looking forward to some good beers and pizza. Unfortunately, both were lacking. The beers all shared a too similar hop profile, although the sampler did provide an excellent value. Our impression of the food quality may have suffered due to the fact we opted for the lunch buffet (good opportunity to sample variety, right?) Anyway, as long as you know what to expect, it’s a decent hang out.
A really fun place to go especially on a nice autumn day. Their house brews are good, even if they’re not great. Don’t look for anything too exotic or life-changing on offer, but they produce some solid American micro-style classics (the Porter is my standby favorite).
Their pizza is very good as well, and pairs nicely with their pints. And, it’s a movie house what’s not to love? Good micro beer, great freshly-made pizza, and big-screen movies, without worrying about getting sauce or stains on your sofa. Check them out if you’ve got a couple of days in Asheville or if you’re looking for a good Saturday outing.
A rad, community-centric restaurant with a ton of heart that makes decent beer. They do $3 movies (in a theater where you can enjoy your food and beer), have kids night, support the community and have great personality. I wasn’t overwhelmed with the beer, but its decent, certainly nothing I had was bad. They support other local breweries which is fantastic to see, when we visited they were featuring French Broad’s Rye Hopper on tap. Also, they have an assorted selection of their bottles to go. The pizza is great and our server was knowledgeable about the food and the beer. Definitely will stop by the next time I’m in Asheville.
Top-notch place to go and have a good beer. Besides thier own they had a GREAT selection of other beers (can you say Chimay). Pizza was great, loved their selection of weird toppings. Did not see a movie, but that must be pretty cool as well.

Good pizza and nice beer selection. The lunch buffet is an especially good deal!
