Located outside of Bar Harbor on the north side, down a gravel road. A small bar and indoor area with several long tables, and several tables outside under cover. The BBQ is quite good. Beer selection is OK. I got an IPA and my wife the Blueberry. Good service.
Visited in 2013. This is where all of the Atlantic and Bar Harbor stuff is made. Didnít do a brewery tour, though I think they do have them. I also think that once youíve done tours of a few they all start looking the same, so I often skip them unless thereís something unique. Anyway, nice thing about this place is that during the warmer months (and maybe the colder months, but really, how many people are vacationing in Bar Harbor in the colder months) the BBQ place Mainely Meats (get it? Itís a pun. Puns are funny) is open. We were both happy with the food there, though be warned thereís not a ton of vegetarian options. Well, there are, but itís all sides. Which were good. But it wasnít a whole meal for me. The tasting room has samples of things, and I donít recall there being a cost associated.
Stopped by while in Bar Harbor on a cruise. Apparently they bought out Bar Harbor Brewing and have a mix of the two for now. Excellent service. A two ounce taster (plastic) was one dollar. Located just off the main street in the former Bar Harbor Brewing location. Do not know if old location is still operating.
Mainely meats bbq and atlantic brewing beers. Outdoor patio. Free brewery tours. Gift shop. Sausage was good from the meats platter, but we were starving after climbing so many mountains. Service was quite slow. Beer was okay. Not a bad place. Nice stop after a hike.
One of the smaller breweries that I have been to. Very interesting to see how they do the bottling for this place. After the tour there was a speed tasting session. Almost all their beers were available in bottle.
August 2011. In a wooded setting on the outskirts of the Bar Harbor/Acadia area, this place has a unique set-up for a brewery, with emphasis on a gift shop. They do offer a wide array of beers and glassware from places across the area. A small BBQ joint is connected and offers the beers on tap. The food smelled good, but we didnít eat. The beers were nothing to write home about, but good enough to hit the spot after a long drive to the island.
Vistited here with some longtime family friends during a Maine vacation with my folks last year. Beers were meh as expected. I have had my share of this breweries offerings during my time in Amherst. Food was pretty good, I got a bbq sandwich which was pretty tasty.

Kind of a cool brewery to visit with some good beers. Recommended

Had a nice visit here. Small. Went without a tour and got good service. Samples were in plastic cups. Glass would have been better for flavor and some of the beers were really good! Had lunch here as well. Good sloppy sandwich at a decent price.
Did not really enjoy myself on a visit to the Atlantic Brewing Company. The tour felt extremely ílow browí and was directed at the 40 other tourists. It felt like one long boast about ABCís beers to the detriment of all other beer. (Talking up their own beer is great, just donít bring down others, itís okay to love lots of different beer!) The tasting afterwards was fun, they ran down the whole selection, some 12? beers and kept up lots of lively banter, I needed to sit a bit before driving off.
