Located in the basement of a building in a narrow lane in the beautiful Old Town of Vilnius, this small, cozy place with old-fashioned furniture, is the place to go if you want to hunt for Lithuanian micros. They are all sold in bottles, which you get yourself from one of the big showcase refridgerators. The staff are very friendly and they definitely know their way around beer. No food. Very affordable prices. Will gladly be back again.
Watched Belgium v France here. Tremendous atmosphere and the young woman in charge just knew everything about Lithuanian beer I would ask. Nisha is probably a better bar in Vilnius but this was my best experience.
A bit hard to find cellar as you will have to go through a gate and down some steps. Only bottled beers in fridges. No system, they just put them in the fridges. All local beers though. Frindly English speaking giirl. No prices in the fridges but I am not scare. Brickstone curved ceiling and walls. Dark furniture. Quite cosy. Music: Soft rock and pop at a sensible level. Snacks and liquor also served. Did not have any.
Very central cellar bar, comfy seating, tv in the back if you want but you can ignore it unlike some other bars and places in Vilnius. Looks nice, some arches. Plenty of tourists coming in but very calm when I was there. No taps just 3 fridges Lithuanian beer, they will help you pick and you choose your glassware. Great place just to drink something. Very comfortable since it was calm, had great service and chat with the waitress who turned out to be right about the most overqualified waitress of all time having masters in things like philosophy, history etc. knowing horse-riding, archery and medieval Latin. Just a fun place even if bit touristic. Music was AC/DC but since the place was empty the waitress put on Moedeselektor, neat.
Right next to Leiciu Brewery, this is an associated basement pub. No taps, but a pretty nice bottle selections and a charming, eccentric female bartender who’s passionate about local beer, and happy to give recommendations. Not a great ticking location at all, but a pleasant place to chill and split bottles with people. Check it out if you have time.
Located in the same street as Leiciu Bravoras, just a stone throw away, you enter this cellar bar though a narrow stairway. This place is a cosy bottleshop, lots of Lithuanian beers to choose from, so it feels very natural to drink them in, small place with seating for abut 20 persons.Recommended place. (Visited with Bryne twice in October)
