Smallish and cosy pub located on street level at Hagabion, classic movie theater. Youngish crowd, I’d guess more to the culturally interested part, perhaps even more to the left side in politics too, but who cares, they’ve got beers! Not that big, but popular, gets crowded fast. A few draught beers that rotate, a couple of bottles that holds rather nice variety. Connected by ownership to Stigbergets. Good fast service, attentive and informed staff. Nice place close to Järntorget and the Långgatan streets, easily included in a pub crawl with e.g. Plain Kitchen, Old Beefeater Inn, Linneterassen, Gyllene Prag and then further down towards the water also The Rover, Ölstugan Tullen, Bishops Arms Järntorget, Haket and many others. Located at tram and bus stop Prinsgatan, but is a short walk from Järntorget that is even more easily accessible. Have not tried eating, but have had beers here a few times, can get quite filled up and is rather popular. Have outdoor seating when it’s season for such things. As with all bars and pubs and restaurants in Sweden it is smoke free. I think there’s only one toilet, so don’t wait until you’re in panic to export your beer, if there’s a line you’ll be waiting.
I wouldnt find this place without ratebeer but friends that live in Goteborg (people who dont go to beer places only) know it most probably because of the cinema. Nice colorful ambiance. I found a seat at the bar. They dont serve flights but the bar tender told me they can sell to me whatever portion of beer I like.. so I was able to try all the beers they had on tap.. (mostly Stigbergets beers). I didnt ask for a bottles list. Friendly and great service. Good prices. For sure I will go again when I will come back to Goteborg.
Visited Marts 2017. This cost small bar is connected to the cinema. The deco theme indicate that clearly, with cinema related things, lots of lamps and disco balls. Rather busy on the nigth we visited the place, but still rather cosy with lounge music. Besides beer, they served coffee, tea, wine and ligth dishes. For sure worh a visit being in the area.
Pretty cozy bar hosted in the old Haga cinema. Plenty of local craft beer including beers from several local breweries. You usually find new beers from Stigbergets here but also other local stuff. Runs a big outdoors serving area during summer. Have not tried the food...
Visited twice during my weekend in Goteborg, Friday 21/03/14 around 1715 so filling up with an after work crowd and we sat in a busy cellar bar at street level, tiled floor, rustic bench seating.
On Sunday 23/03/14 we sat upstairs in mid to late afternoon, still fairly busy, classier setting with lots of play and artefacts on the fact that this venue is a small arthouse style cinema.
The crowd was similar on both visits, a fairly hipster youngish group but probably more this camp on the Friday.
This is the tap for Stigbergets and as such expect quite a few of their beers, particularly in bottle. Tap range expanded a little to incorporate a few well known D breweries such as Mikkeller and To Oi as well as a few guest taps from Sweden.
Service was fairly prompt and pleasant.
Not the biggest beer selection in the ’Borg by any means but a pleasant stop with a decent vibe.
Small cozy bar. A bit of an odd one, not your classical beer bar. Draws a young crowd that seems more culturally interested than beer fans. Good selection of micros from breweries close by that can be hard to find anywhere else. Not a huge selection, but what they have is rare enough to warrant a visit.

A cosy little place in connection with a small, independent movie theatre. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit limited selection with mostly local stuff, but with some unique beers on tap.
