Not a beer destination! This is a fun, popular, large sports bar with mega projector screens and lots of pool tables. Tap list is large, probably over 30 but very few were interesting or good. Stale Anchor Steam, Arrogant Bastard, SNPA. They had kicked at least two kegs that were still on the tap list without replacing them. All so ubiquitous across the US now that I cannot say this has a beer selection better than practically any decent pizza joint in Florida.
Looks and feels like a biker bar or is it a sports bar or a ............?
Lots of seating inside and a few tables outside. A huge menu, too much to choose from. They have a big tap list but nothing hard to find anywhere else. Same with the bottle list. The service was OK, but not great. Food was decent. Would I go back? Probably not, even if I lived in the area.
My girlfriend and I visited on a Saturday evening for dinner and some beers. When we walked in we were told to seat ourselves so we did. A busboy noticed we had been sitting at our table for a while without any menus so he took a couple to us. We waited ten minutes for a server to come, when she came she asked us if we wanted anything to drink. The same busboy that brought the menus brought us our drinks. We waited 25 minutes, and in that time we saw other people come in, greeted by a server, sometimes the same server that took our drink order, drinks were brought to the table and food orders were taken. We were clearly being completely ignored and I had never felt so disrespected as I did then. I didn’t want to talk to anyone at that point so I just put the money for a lemonade and a glass of water on the table and left. We had a horrible experience and will never visit again.
Usually too crowded, but got in there one early afternoon and got to watch some rugby and golf on a couple of the million or so TVs they have. Very long beer list, but not a lot to get your attention. Mediocre bar food. Wait staff seemed very nice, but I got the feeling things change as the crowd surges later in the day.
Over time, this bar has come to feel more of a tourist trap than an authentic watering hole. But their selection is good and the menu is huge. Can’t really go wrong bringing visiting guests here if you’re down on the Promenade.
Had a quick lunch here while in Santa Monica. The beers seemed flat and oxidized. Not sure what is up with that. Maybe they don’t take care of their lines. Server was a bit short with us and kind of rude. Food we mediocre. They had a solid selection of beers on tap. But if they are all stale tasting it’s not worth stopping by. Menu was huge.
Good food, descent beer selection. Not the healthiest choices of food, but tasty nonetheless.
Beer selection is mediocre. Not a bad place tho nonetheless.

Crowded slightly touristy place on 3rd street. Old-school sports bar vibe that is similar to the other locations...many different choices as far as food, which is okay and on the pricier side. Beers? A few locals like Angel City, two stone taps and two Firestone taps (one of which is the house amber). Didn’t look at the bottle list. Better than your average sports bar, but not a beer bar destination as far as ratebeer is concerned.
Truly unique place in this world of ours. Largest food menu on earth. Go to the original location in Hollywood if you can - for Kareoke of course, but if you can’t make it there head to SM or Pasadena locations. The new owners have really improved the service and, i think, double the number of televisions - if that’s possible.
