Smaller than what I thought it would be. 10-15 seats at bar and about 20 tables. Odd to see a brewpub in wine country and some of the high end shops there.
Quick efficient service. Food came out very quickly. Was there at best 1 hour.
Really liked the non bottles stuff from BR. Tartare and the BA barleywine were excellent.
Food was a bit average but workable.
Really enjoyed it. Get there early on a Saturday or Sunday to avoid the crowd.
Bellied up to the bar and asked for a six beer custom taster - I think it was like $9, which seemed pretty reasonable, and they were well poured. Kind of a fun place with a brewpub like feel, energetic staff, and a lot of locals (people, not beer). Did not try the food, but the beer had a couple of real standouts.
Lunch on Saturday. They have good space in the bar, inside and outside dining areas. The beers are divided up by six house ales and 10 specialty ales. The house ales are available commercially, and the specialties are only available at the brewery. I had the Crazy Ivan and El Oso and my wife had the specialty taster of ten beers. All the beers were good with a few extra delicious. For food we tried a meat and cheese board. You choose the meat and cheese, it was good. The service was fine. Worth a visit on your way through the valley.
Nice brewpub way up in downtown Healdsburg. If your a local, this is a nice location, but I wouldnít really go to far out of my way to come here. There are a few beers on tap that you canít get anywhere else, but for the most part they are just ok. Nothing special. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good. Very family friendly. Beer quality is above average. Worth a stop if your in the area.

Visited a couple times and the bartenders were very rude and I was ignored for awhile before getting a beer..Beer selection was so so, but the beers were found to be very lacking in freshness or the lines were dirty..After getting a large sampler she sat all the beers in front of me and walked away without even telling me what I was looking at. She walked by and I asked her what these 13+ beers are sitting here and her reply was "I donít know" and she walked away. I will not be going here again.
This is an Odd one, its an old old rating on a visit to California. I remember the place being pretty nice, but unlike the beers i had in jupiter i remember being unimpressed with all there beers. Not that they were bad just that none were my thing, but the place was cool, quite trendy and we still had a good day
Hard place to find because some of the addresses are on interior courtyards. Once i found the door & chose between the cavernous inside and a long outside eating porch. Broad selection of their beers, roughly split between what they bottle and what they donít. My burger was great but the fires a little dry. An extensive menu, featuring local cheeses & meats.Great service.
We were here 2007. Racer 5 is one of my favorite beers and fresh in the brewery it does taste even better. At this time it was a small brew pub with a nice bar. Have been informed they have opened a bigger brewery now. Definitely will come back one day.
