Great lively place with tons of locals and friendly bartenders to keep you entertained. The staff not only know there stuff, attempt to humor and get to know you. I had a great time and they had 15+ beers on tap. Food was OK, nothing special and during happy hours the prices are down right cheap.
After at least a half dozen trips to Santa Rosa and Russian River, I finally just made it a point to come here. Surprisingly small brewpub for a brewery that has their beer all over the place in bottles. I guess they do have an outside area that not many seemed to be using. They had about 18 taps on with the regulars and a pretty good number of draft only/brewpub only beers. Service was chipper and quick. They do samples of everything and they’re pretty cheap, too. Everyone seemed to just be hanging out and having a good time in the rather quiet town of Healdsburg.
Perhaps the most memorable thing about this place was the men’s room. It’s about the size of your typical single occupancy restroom, but the arrangement of the facilities is interesting to say the least. They have a few urinals on one of the walls (no dividers, but not really a big deal) and opposite that are the sink...and a toilet. I mention this because the toilet is just there. It’s not in a stall nor does it have any sort of barrier. I guess it’s cool if you like have an unobstructed view of people taking a leak and washing their hands while you drop a deuce, though. Shitter rating: 2/5.
Great place in a beautiful part of Healdsburg. Awesome little beer garden out back. Staff are friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. Beer quality is pretty consistent, especially the IPAs and barrel aged brews. A must stop when traveling down the 101.
Smaller than what I thought it would be. 10-15 seats at bar and about 20 tables. Odd to see a brewpub in wine country and some of the high end shops there.
Quick efficient service. Food came out very quickly. Was there at best 1 hour.
Really liked the non bottles stuff from BR. Tartare and the BA barleywine were excellent.
Food was a bit average but workable.
Really enjoyed it. Get there early on a Saturday or Sunday to avoid the crowd.
Bellied up to the bar and asked for a six beer custom taster - I think it was like $9, which seemed pretty reasonable, and they were well poured. Kind of a fun place with a brewpub like feel, energetic staff, and a lot of locals (people, not beer). Did not try the food, but the beer had a couple of real standouts.
Lunch on Saturday. They have good space in the bar, inside and outside dining areas. The beers are divided up by six house ales and 10 specialty ales. The house ales are available commercially, and the specialties are only available at the brewery. I had the Crazy Ivan and El Oso and my wife had the specialty taster of ten beers. All the beers were good with a few extra delicious. For food we tried a meat and cheese board. You choose the meat and cheese, it was good. The service was fine. Worth a visit on your way through the valley.
Nice brewpub way up in downtown Healdsburg. If your a local, this is a nice location, but I wouldn’t really go to far out of my way to come here. There are a few beers on tap that you can’t get anywhere else, but for the most part they are just ok. Nothing special. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good. Very family friendly. Beer quality is above average. Worth a stop if your in the area.

Visited a couple times and the bartenders were very rude and I was ignored for awhile before getting a beer..Beer selection was so so, but the beers were found to be very lacking in freshness or the lines were dirty..After getting a large sampler she sat all the beers in front of me and walked away without even telling me what I was looking at. She walked by and I asked her what these 13+ beers are sitting here and her reply was "I don’t know" and she walked away. I will not be going here again.
