A very cool store. Big windows go all around the outside with a multi-tap bar to one side. Lots of brass and wood but not dark. Very bright and shiny.
A row of fridges line one wall with a variety of bottles, cans, and growlers ready for purchase. Great staff let us try a variety of drafts before we grabbed a few bottles.
A wide variety of shirts, hats, and glassware are also available.
Worth a visit!
Visited the tasting room several times back in the day, it was great to pop in and look at the fridges or see if they had any new local brews on tap. Went to the bar part on occasion but it wasn’t as memorable. They usually had a good selection available of their own and one or two guest taps. A tad expensive, probably to counter its location fees. Will be missed! (4/8/11/NA/6/13) 72
Interesting place close to the heart of downtown. A couple Creemore/Granville beers always available, but you’d go for the house beers, which were usually quite good. Fridge always had a handful of different house beers in quarts (or growlers) in addition to the Creemore/Granville stuff. Expensive, especially for the bottles to go, but a number of their beers were quite good. Not a place I’d go all the time, but it was a good addition to the Toronto beer scene and will be missed.
A nice brewery with a tap room right in the center of town. Parking is expensive and a pain, so either park away and walk or take public transport. Service is good and they offer flights with lots of info. Light snack which are very basic. Prices are ok, but could be better consider the macro giant they are. I want to hate them for what they are but the beer is actually decent. Might as well go.
Big place and new and modern. Nice huge windows making it bright and fun. Friendly and patient staff, which is much needed in place like this. Gave me lots of time to look at all the beers but didn’t forget that I was there. They seem to offer finger foods, like pretzels, cheese plates and the like. When I visited they seemed to be big on Germanic styles and some of their brews were ok at best but definitely worth stopping by.
Modern pub with brewery downstairs. Friendly staff. Nice to sit and drink and look at life go by out of the vast window area. Decent selection of beer. Not sure how much it rotates but worth a visit if your in town.
A very odd place. It looks nice, the taster flights are cheap and the service is very friendly, if not quite knowledgeable about their beer. The beers are average - but this is, after all, a Molson operation. Overheard some guys ask if it was really craft beer considering it’s a Molson operation and the bartenders didn’t really know what to say. Seems like if the Man wants to start getting into craft beer, he should try a little harder to make it good. Otherwise, what’s the point? Place seems lost halfway between two things. Another 3 Brewers.
