You enter the bottle shop, which has a good but not overly extensive selection of mostly Belgian beers. In the back there’s a very comfy typical brown Belgian beer café area, love that. Any beer in the shop is available chilled, to enjoy on site. Owner and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Prices were on the high side for Belgium, think I’d pay just a tiny bit more in expensive NL.
Larger bottle shop with a far more diverse Belgian beer selection, than you can find in most of the more tourist-oriented bottle shops in the city center. Some imported beers as well. Great prices and in the back are even a few tables and a bar. Definitely worth coming by if you are in the area.
A good place to hang out and drink quality beers from the shop. Also had a platter of excellent beer snacks including salamis, chorizos and olives. The owner and his wife are most friendly and care about their customers. As an AirBnB tourist in another part of Brussels, I had somehow managed to forget our keys in the sofa in the bar just before closing time and knew nothing of it. Luckily we had asked them about a good kebab place nearby, and as we sat enjoying our food, they came running through the door looking for us to give us our forgotten keys. Kudos!
They have their bottles in the sunlight until it gets sold, which should never be done. I was told that certain breweries refuse to sell any beer to them, because of this. On top of that, the owner is short tempered and quite rude. Good selection, high prices.
An alright beer store with a focus on Belgians, but prices are somewhat high in comparison to Malting Pot or Malt Attacks and even though the focus is on Belgians, it doesn’t seem like they have too many of the smaller breweries’ available. There’s a bar here as well so you can drink your bottles. Some ’rarities’ (by local standards) like Stillwater or To Öl.
