Very interesting as you can buy cases of rare stuff. I saw a ton of Lost Abbey and Pizza Port cases, tons of others as well. This isn’t a spot for non locals. Service was nice to start, poured me a beer, then seem kind of annoyed that I left without buying anything.
Another spot probably great for locals but not a destination.
OK, so apparently this case thing is due to state law. Its a real downer for somebody non-local. What the hell am I going to do with a case of Aun Mas Cafe Jesus? They did have a pretty decent selection of beer, although it seemed to be randomly placed wherever the hell it fit in the store. Guy working there was nice and explained the laws to me, and even pointed out another shop nearby that could sell singles cause they also served food. Really weird. I don’t want to crap on this place for something that is a state law, but then again, I cant see ever going back here
Stopped in here for the first time a few weeks back to see what all the fuss was about. Really small space with cases of beer all over the place. There appears to be no rhyme or reason as to where they are. I found cases from Goose Island in two different isles. Quality and selection were pretty good. Nothing overly rare or anything but definitely some tasty beers to be had, if you are into buying cases that is. Service was good. They came around twice to ask if I was doing ok and if I needed anything. Not sure what to put for the prices as they appear to not want you to know them. I guess because they move the cases all over the place but at least put the price on the case so we can tell how much it is without having to go up and wait in line each time. Overall a very nice distributor to check out if you are in the area.
Great somewhat cool cellar temp throughout the store. Cases stacked high in rows which is less than desirable organization but really adds to the feel. The staff is super knowledgeable and helpful. For a small distributor the selection is beyond compare. Tons of small release, foreign, and aged releases. Good values.
The prices are fair. I am not fond of buying stuff in bulk but for the serious spender or buyer this is a great shop. They really care about what they do and their customers. If you’re not a local check it out. You might get lucky. I will say it’s best to put orders in and when you know you will be in town stop on over. It seems to me to be the most rewarding.
Stopped yesterday before a visit to Tired Hands. Very crowded, but if you look through everything, there’s some nice stuff around. Didn’t ask for much service, but the guys seemed to know what they were doing. Pretty reasonably priced. I’ll return in the future.
This place is behind a Starbucks and easy too miss. Great selection of cases with domestic and imports well represented. Gold local selection. Staff was helpful in digging out a case and they knew what they were talking about. Offered to order anything that want currently in stock. A little pricey compared to my normal distributor but they make up for it in hard to find cases.
Great staff and selection at the beeryard. Lots of goodies in stock whether craft or import is your preference. And they get the limited and rare stuff that comes into the market. if they dont have it and they can get it for you, they are more than happy to. The owner Matt is a great guy...knowledgeable and generous. Prices are a bit high (main line pricing) but fair enough given the awesome selection.
Stopped in here after Teresa’s just because we it was on the way and wow were we glad. You can only by cases but they have some pretty impressive stuff, even considering we are used to shoddy selection from Canada and PA has some great beer. Able to get LA, RR and AS just sitting there, went into the back room with Matt and got some Fluxus 2010 and KBS. Overall great service, great selection and will be visiting again.
