Not wholly convinced. The food comes in enormous portions, but you pay for it. Why they don’t charge less and give you less I don’t know. But not bad. Mussells all year round makes me a little suspicious. The beer selection is good if you’re a fan of Belgians, but as others have mentioned not particularly exciting.

There is a slightly disappointing list here, it’s not short but perhaps a little unadventurous perhaps. The other think I have a few grumbles about is the service, not very helpful really. Other than that it’s not bad, comfortable enough and the patio area is pretty decent.

A fair range of Belgian beers available in bottles but nothing too exciting or sour : ( The food, however, is lovely. I recommend the mussels and frites. I would have liked to see some proper, unsweetened, geuze though.

The only reason to go to this Pub is because you like Belgian Beer. That is all they have. But what they have is great. The selction is not vast but they constantly have guest beers from Belgium that I have not seen anywhere else in the UK. The food is Belgium style and has always been good and tasty. I love there wild boar sausage. They also have various Mussell dishes. They make great fries served with mayo. We try to avoid it on Weekends as it is a small place and gets crowded. If you are in Norwich stop by. Short of going to Belgium I can not imagine a better place to relax with a beer, a paper for a few hours.
