I’m new to the area and stumbled upon this place as well. Wow, what a selection! Tons of local and other micros. The Beer Guy, David, was more than helpful and emphasized he didn’t mind breaking up sixers. He pulled out some tucked away brews for me as well. The prices were lower than that of anywhere else I’ve seen in Ann Arbor . He told me the new space burtallen mentioned would be in place within a week. I’m an immediate regular. By the way, holy Belgium!
I found this place by accident. Yhe selection of beer especially the local brews was excellent. The person helping me was very knowlegeable and not pushy. Yhey are about to add additional space for the beer area. If you are looking for a good beer from anywhere in the world, this is the place.

A really nice selection of beer, wine and sake. Beer appears fresh a well-tended too. A decent number of singles available. The remainder of the store looks to have some nice meat and produce as well as really nice prepared foods. Highly recommended stop if you are in Ann Arbor. The beer guy sometimes has secret stashes so be sure to ask!
This is a nice little grocery/wine/beer market directly across from U of M’s engineering campus. Great selection of Michigan micros and other hard to find Midwest treasures. Lots of singles available, as well. Also, they have a really impressive selection of European imports. Dave, the beer buyer, is friendly and always willing to help with special requests. Non beer items include an excellent cheese selection, an amazing wine cellar and an extensive specialty food section. Definitely worth a stop if in the area.
