Went here late at night after the Rose Bowl. Great ambiance we sat all the way in the back which is right on the beach and just a perfect view of the ocean, the view rocked! The beer was nothing over the top but our pale ale and amber were very solid and exactly what we were looking for after an exhausting day. Food was great, french onion soup, lobster bisque and a pretty good kobe burger. Overall I’d go back just for the view and it’s right next to a pier to walk the meal off.
This was a cool little place right on the beach.went late so the service was decent.had the 6 beer sampler for $5.The Long Beach Crude was the best. The food was real good and I would reccomend to anyone going down that way.

Beautiful location overlooking in LB pier and beach. Food was good, I had clam cownder and Asian salad. Beer selection was limited with 10 taps and 7bbl system. Belmonts’ brews were average, but the selection of the month was solid IPA as with the LB Crude Stout were their best. 5 guest taps with Smog City’s Hoptonic IPA, Ports’ Mongo IPA and can’t remember 3 others. A solid brewpub but nothing to go out of your way for.
This was a nice visit. Hard to find because of the construction going on in the front, but well worth the visit. Sat outside in some nice weather. Didn’t get any food, but all that passed looked good. Had the beer sampler which is worth the price.
Picturesque little spot right on the water, which naturally is Belmont Brewing Company’s greatest asset. The atmosphere is casual dining, and the main hall is elegant and breezy. I didn’t get to try the food, so unfortunately my review is only partial. The beers I tried (from the sampler) were all worth the time, and the long beach crude in particular is a tasty one. But still yet -- no offense -- this place is not somewhere I’ll come for craving of their house beer; its the atmosphere and idyllic location that’ll keep me a customer.
Nice, classier-than-expected place tucked away down the coast from Long Beach. During warm weather, the patio is the place to sit. I have been three or four times over the last several years, and the staff is always attentive and polite. The food is two cuts above the average brewpub fare: this place is almost more of a restuarant with beer than a brewpub. They have their standard year round brews plus a seasonal/rotating tap. If I lived a little closer and their beers were a little better, I’d be a regular.
