Classic Portland spot, must visit. Nice and unique bottle selection, well organized with a great staff. Small bar next door with interestingly curated taplist. (Update 4/17: The first time or two, Iím not sure I realized the brilliance of this place. During the 20th anniversary week you truly see the impact this has had on the community: so many great breweries stepping up to honor them with unique beers. The renovated bottleshop is a pleasure to browse with a great selection that makes this Seattle boy drool. Tap lists are consistently interesting. Staff is top notch. Bumping up.)

Nice tap list with some really gems. They had just had a Goose Island tap take over and some really intestering beers were still on. The two young fellas behind the bar were super nice and gave excellent service

Definitely a Portland gem amongst the sea of breweries, pubs, and bottle shops. Enormous selection that suits any tastes. Your eyes literally run wild! Attached Bier Cafe always has an interesting rotating tap selection with a good selection of pour sizes. I was there on a Friday afternoon and managed to get a few hours of work done with a pint. Ambiance was friendly and chill, and they had jazz playing in the background.

Nice smallish tap room with a great list. Laid back feel to it, lots of wood. Next door (connected) is an amazing bottle shop packed with good stuff, regional beers as well as imported. I need to come back with a van.

An interesting place no doubt but I found it largely overblown. The beer selection in the bottleshop was very good. The bar side was bland and menu somewhat "better than average to good". The server on the night we was pretty bitter at a large group in the front and, as a result, was rather short and irritable with EVERYONE else in the bar. When that group left she was cursing aloud but to herself. I recognize that it may have been an off-night so I will re-rate this location the next time Iím in Portland. Overall, Iím somewhat underwhelmed by this placeís national recognition.

One of the best of the best when visiting Portland. Itís easy to focus on the breweries when in the that youíre drinking mostly Oregon or NW craftbeers...but after 3 Portland craftbeer tours...Iíve learned you must include some craft bars...and this is one of if not "the" best of the craftbeer bars in the state. Add to that that itís a bottle shop too...and itís a must visit when in Portland. Besides great people and service there...the tap list is ridiculous. On my recent visit I tried Dansk Mjad Viking Blod Mead from a pin keg...which was freakin amazing! Being from back east...I also never skip a chance to have a Blind Pig on draft...which I did. I tried 3 flights and would have gone for a fourth but still had Hopworks and Horse Brass Pub left on my itinerary. Donít miss this place while in the Portland area.

Went here with Ferris during RBSG 2015. Cool arrangement that places a taproom and bottle shop side by side. Both are on the small side, but both are loaded with craft beer greatness. Interesting taps, every one of them. Tasting flights available and encouraged. The bottle shop is full of Oregon and out of state quality and rarities. Prices are excellent, staff is super helpful and knowledgeable without being intrusive. Great spot.

My wife and I stopped in here on our way through Portland and only had time to take in the bottle shop so I canít comment on the taproom portion, though from the glimpse I got it looked very inviting. Loads of bottles packed into a relatively small shop, so the aisles are a bit cramped. Coolers hold six packs and some singles on two of the walls. For being a small shop they really pack in the good brews. I had done some research the night before and picked out a selection of beers I wanted to get. They update their bottle list twice a week so they had the majority of what I had selected on hand. I couldnít find a porter I was looking for and the clerk told me that sometimes their database has a glitch and will list something they havenít had for months, so just be aware that that may occur from time to time. They let you grab singles from most, but not all, of the bottle six packs but you canít break up the six packs of cans. I wish they had more singles on offer, as I wanted to try some canned beers but wasnít in a position to buy four or five six-packs so I had to go without. My wife found a plethora of ciders she was interested in, too. They offer a small discount if you paying cash instead of credit. The staff was friendly and helpful and the selection was impressive. Iíll definitely stop again next time Iím in Portland and hopefully get a beer in their pub.
