Small place but the beer is so good. Loud music, but in summer it’s quieter on the terrace, even if it’s on the corner of Sherbrooke street which is a pretty occupied street. The staff is very knowledgable of their products and very friendly, Montreal style. The food is very basic, no kitchen, only two french dog and some side order Brewpud style.
Located in the busy Sherbrooke Street in Downtown Montréal, this spacious and modern brewpub with a large patio must be one of the favourite places for students from the nearby McGill University. I visited it on a Thursday afternoon and it was filled to the brim. The selection of beers is what could be expected in a reasonable brewpub in Québec: 12 taps and a cask, all of own produce, and quite decent quality. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and the prices are quite popular, too: a flight of 3 oz. for two dollars, tax included. I did not try the food but other guests seemed to be quite content with theirs. I might be back one day.
Always seems to draw a good crowd so atmosphere is lively and a comfortable spot to grab an afternoon beer. Conveniently located along Sherbrooke and even more so when staying only a few blocks away! A dozen beers on tap but of the few I tried over a couple of visits I found the quality to be variable but generally decent. Small food menu with panini and hot dogs. Staff were friendly but usually just chatted amongst themselves.
