Grocery store with a big selection of beers, both locals, other US beers and loads of imports. Narrow space between racks with beer and a litle hard messy. Prices along elsewhere in the area. Pizza counter aswell if hungry - we didnt try them. Good spot, should had visited one of the first days of our SD stay.

A grocery, liquor store and pizza place all in one. No real service to speak of. Good selection of beers from everywhere, hard to find exactly what you are looking for so expect to take some time. Prices seemed in line. A good stop with a good selection for the area.
a pretty large selection of bottles. Great its open to midnight even on sundays. However had a number of interesting bottles without expiry dates, like Kern, that I did not know if fresh or on the shelves 1.5 years. Cannot just go on the word. More single bottles would make this an even better destination. Also found it pricy.
Visited early afternoon, the place was empty. Quite a spacious bottleshop, great selection of US beers and imports. In the end didn’t buy anything, but this looks like the place for beer shopping in downtown SD.
This small grocery store in downtown San Diego has a large and diverse beer selection, both on shelves and in coolers. Unfortunately during my visit a few bros were discussing whales and other crap they thought they knew something about, blocking an aisle, so I docked the ambiance for letting in bros. Seriously though, the prices are good and you’ll find beers here that you do not see elsewhere, some bottles even with a healthy layer of dust. The staff seemed to not give a crap and had a "whatever" attitude.
Visited Saturday 7/2/2016. It claims to be a bottle shop in a supermarket but in my opinion, it’s a bottle shop. Located downtown, parking might be tough to get. We managed to find a metered space. Neighborhood might not be quite as bad as in some of the earlier reviews, at least not during the day. An incredible selection here, both of domestics and imports. Tons of bottles. Staff wasn’t friendly, and bottles weren’t very organized - I found one type of beer in three or four different locations. Despite this - because of the incredible selection - I have to give this place high marks. A must stop.
Visited several times during my 8 days in San Diego in Jan/Feb 2017. Located close to my hotel for the first two nights, Holiday Inn in a rather deserted area, at least on a Sunday evening. The selection was really good with all kind of beers, both domestic and international. A must visit when in San Diego.
A legit shop located in what looks like a crappy market. Crazy selection with loads of good beers, even some hard to get stuff (which you pay up for!). Prices otherwise are fine. A must hit if you’re in downtown SD.
