Located in a warehouse district - does not look like a retail establishment. Warehouse type set-up. Hundreds of six packs of west coast beer available - NO SINGLES though - I repeat - NO SINGLES - so beware if that is what you are looking for. Several hundreds of bombers available - every well known west coast brewer. Decent import selection as well. Friendly check out staff - be sure to check out the massive collection of foreign currency under the glass at the register.
Nicely hidden off the 90 in Marina Del Rey area. Nearly everything they have (except strict bottle limit offerings) is on shelves, making it easy to find, but also easy to miss, anything they get. This literally is a warehouse, so donít expect the cozy, boutique feel of nearby Wallyís. If youíre looking for liquor, too, thereís no way youíll leave this spot empty handed. Great place to find semi-rare or otherwise quick-to-dissapear shelf releases (Firestone anniversary, RR sours, etc.) for quantity purchases.
After living about 2 miles away from this place for five years and never knowing about it until a few days ago I decided to go there for a visit. The place is well hidden as its on an obscure side street and at the end of a large parking lot in a shopping center full of warehouses. The place has a lot of beer, including several Belgian and American beers that I have not seen anywhere else in Los Angeles. The place seems well organized with beers organized according to the country or region they come from. The two employees I talked to were friendly.
A good selection of beers from the US and beyond. It is a warehouse, so doesnít have the same feeling as shopping in a small shop, but the staff were friendly and the prices were reasonable. It also has a small selection of glassware and lots of non-beer drinks - a massive amount of spirits, mixers and quite a lot of wine.
Nice selection, new things constantly coming in. The best prices. I always go right when they open, there is one main beer guy and he is really friendly. They just rearranged the beer section in order to make it more ordered - I liked the old, more chaotic style, but once they work out the kinks will probably be for the best. This is by far the main place I go. Definitely recommend.
Quite possibly my new favorite beer store in LA. Warehouse setting. Complete disorder...AMAZING SELECTION of beers and spirits at a very fair price. Where else can you go and find cases of Angelís Share and Mirror Mirror on the floor in between the Left Coast Hop Juice and Miller light...Awesome. People working the cash registers are homebrewers too, so there is an added plus!
