As the other reviewer said here, this place is in the basement of the Chase St Market. The entrance is at the side, and is not so easy to spot unless you know the place is there. The decor is pretty simple, there are a few stools at the bar and also some tables and chairs. Service was friendly, our server also gave some good beer recommendations. Tap selection was decent both in terms of size and variety. I had a pint of Old Brown Dog from Smuttynose and a Darkest Before the Dawn from Hobbs (really liked the latter beer). Food was good, I had the Buffalo Sandwich and my wife had the garlic bread, plus we had a chilli each. Prices were good, both for food and drinks. This is the best place in town for draught beer (not that there are a hell of a lot of options), well worth a visit. Note that they are not open super-late, they close at 9pm.

I stopped in here last week on my way up north. In the cellar of Chase St Market and owned by the same people. This place was pretty busy for lunch on a Wed. I was here for the beer but also had a great sandwich as well. 24 or so taps with a focus on local. the had a beer from White Mountain and Shackett’s which I hadn’t seen anywhere before. Most taps were 5 bucks with a few at 6. The lone bartender was busy but attentive. I’d go back again!
