La scelta delle birre alla spina è sempre di alto livello. Il servizio non è male anche se la competenza in fatto di birre non è da tutti. La qualità del cibo, secondo me, è leggermente calata rispetto a qualche tempo f’a. E’ sempre uno dei migliori locali di Roma.
A very nice beer bar. Plenty of taps, very quick tasty pizza. I arrived at around 10pm and it was mostly a drinking crowd, so that probably helped. Eager to let you sample brews. In a hip part of town.
Visited in 2016 when the rudest staff I have ever experienced destroyed what should have been a memorable experience. Decided to give the place another chance this year and did a couple of visits, a relaxed sampling session on a Saturday afternoon and then a meal Tuesday evening (pre-booking a table outside whilst there on the Saturday). Beer selection is good no denying that, and service this time was better but still seems to have something of a superiority complex and whilst I certainly had better experiences this year than last, it’s still not as good as it should be.
Visited couple of times. The main room is a bit narrow, but they do have a nice patio outside and a back room. Nice selection, about 40 taps, not all of them were on. Good mix of Italian micros and some imports, variety of styles. Service was good, they were happy to recommend the brews and provided samples to try. Didn’t check the bottle list. Well worth visiting.

A beautiful if cramped bar with a sleek, modern art interior. In two experiences here, I wanted to love it but could not manage more than mixed feelings.
Trip one was within our first few hours in Rome. Weary from travel and eager for a good time. We had already visited Ma Che and needed some food. The Ganstaller Zoigl on tap was ruinously spoiled, but no one returned to speak to us for more than twenty minutes, so I was sort of stuck. Eventually we were able to order some food when I finally chose to actually raise my hand at the bartender (a bartender myself, there’s not a more effective self-humiliation out there). The fried eggplant bruschetta was absolutely killer and the fresh homemade bread was too. We were two of possibly four people in the bar at the six o’clock hour and were willfully ignored the entire time. Have they only recently abandoned the late afternoon closing hours and the staff just don’t want to serve anyone while they’re getting ready for dinner service? It was very confusing. Maybe we shouldn’t have been there, but in that case I’d have so much rather just been told to go away.
The second visit was during a wildly packed Saturday night. The service was slow but intentful, the Knoblach Keller was fantastic, and the pizza was among the best we had in Rome. I look forward to another, better, and more representative visit next time.
