Un voisin tout frais sorti des entrailles de la plus grande scène brassicole en amérique. Très conservateur dans la direction créative mais c’est souvent la meilleure façon de faire pour débuter. À surveiller dans les prochains mois.

This newly opened brewery continues the San Diego County tradition by locating in an industrial park alongside numerous diverse businesses. Interstate 5 offers white noise out the back of the brewery while a somewhat quiet street sits out front. The decor is industrial with a white tile back splash along the tap wall, wood and metal mixed elsewhere and a wood clad ceiling. Delaney served us today and we quickly recognized her from White Labs, her previous employer (and incidentally the brewer’s previous employer too). There were 2 nitro taps and 12 CO2 taps with only 9 attached to kegs. The brewery is open just beyond the bar and looks to be about a 10 BBL setup. The ESB, Porter, and Dunkelweizen were particularly good while the Berliner Weisses left me a bit disappointed. Delaney says the brewer kettle sours these. The only food they serve is nuts so grab something along the way if you are hungry or pop into Pacific Beach for numerous choices.
