Excellent place. Big outside seating, great food. Had a really solid taplist. Cool to sit outside at 9am and watch the farmers market with a beer! Haha. Really impressed by the taplist. Excellent place.
Visited twice along the RBSG 17 Route. First in the downstairs cellar area and again for a brunch on the patio in the late morning. Downstairs was one of the most impressive beer cellars and bars I have seen anywhere. Upstairs there are two different bars. One is a more traditional looking bar, the other is upscale and fancy. The patios outside is pretty neat as well with plenty of covered tables to choose from. The draft list was lengthy and just as impressive as the rest of the place. This is a world class bar situated right in downtown Boise. I never would have expected it.
2 stops during RBSG. Red Feather hosted the welcome tasting and supplied food. A great location downstairs that had a small bar and different rooms filled with aging beers. 2nd stop was breakfast on the patio. Good poutine and beers list.
A fun private bottle room downstairs with some taps, a large pub on the main floor and a large patio outside. Something for everyone. Service ranged from good to great depending on who you get. Food was solid and interesting. Prices were decent and they had Wifi. A great bar with lots of taps and some really fun and very rare bottles.
First stop on Saturday of RBSG17. And I guess since Red Feather isn’t on here I can include the great hospitality they showed us during the opening event. Seated outside for some breakfast time beers. Good crowd going, and not just from our group. Seems like quite the popular brunch place on the weekends. Farmers market taking over the street in front made for a good amount of foot traffic and great people watching. Good tap list here, and taster sized pours and or flights are available to work through the list as you wish. Service did a nice job of keeping up with a probably fuller than average brunch seating full of people looking for multiple tiny pours. Worth a visit on less busy times.
Based on 3 visits, not counting one where i couldn’t get a seat for dinner, in June 2017.
Extensive, varied, and well documented (menu) list of beers on tap. Focus is on ’local’ (WY, Idaho, Oregon) beers. Beers served in several sizes. Some rarities on tap each visit. Very good food with excellent presentation.
Great beer bar with a great bottle list and a unique tap list. A good chunk of the beers seemed to be Payette, so they must have had a tap takeover recently, but there was lots of other interesting stuff to be had. The food was fantastic, too, really above par. Our server was really cool, extremely helpful and courteous. In fact, everyone we dealt with was super friendly. The place was packed to the gills, and it took us awhile to get our table, but it was well worth it. It would be fun to come here with other raters and just spend a whole evening exploring the crazy tap and bottle selection.
