Visited here in late June ’16 while in the area for business, Nice decor, very roomy with high ceilings and a few TVs placed around the rooms and a huge 4 in 1 screen behind the bar. Have about 8 of their rotating beers on tap with 3 seasonal and a few regionals such as Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and Tokoma on tap. Pizza, burgers, wings, salads, appetizers - full stocked menu. Service was superb, professional and friendly. I like a place where the waiters and waitresses wear somewhat of a uniform and provide good solid polite service - yeah, I’m old fashioned, Like all other BJ’s I have been to - pretty solid - you know what you are going to get.

Average sports bar. Good local brews. My burger was ok but the appetizers were great! Service was good but the server really didn’t have too much knowledge on the beer, nor could he find out info on when/if the pumpkin beer will be available any time soon. I will definitely go back to sample more beers.

This place is loud and dark. Service is terrible here if you don’t sit at the bar. It is actually like two completely different establishments depending on whether or not you’re at the bar or at a table. At a table you can expect it to be a very long time before you see a server and about three times that wait before your food ever comes. The kitchen is very slow here. There is a large selection of food and the taste is good but then almost anything tastes good after you’ve waited that long. You may get carded there, this is not a problem if your waiter is competent enough to look at your ID and decide if you are of age to buy alcohol or not. If your server is not competent enough he will then walk away with your ID (after having been asked to return it before leaving) and get his manager and his manager will have to do the math to decide whether or not you can buy alcohol. This was a ridiculously horrible experience. With today’s technology identity theft is a threat and I really did not appreciate the waiter walking off with my ID. The manager did come by to say that he had to look at the ID and say that that’s just how they did it there. I informed him that I had been there several times before and never experienced that (at the bar or at a table). All while he was talking to me and I was talking to him he never once looked at me. He just stared off into another part of the restaurant. This is not customer service. This is not how you talk with people. Beer selection is good especially if you are okay with drinking one of the beers they produce. The menu is not updated very often so have a request list when your waiter finally returns.

My family and I came here for dinner and drinks during a recent trip to Daytona Beach. Having been thoroughly impressed by McK’s Tavern and Bottle Caps, I was excited to visit the city’s only brewpub. First of all, this enormous restaurant looks very attractive from the outside, and the interior decor is even more beautiful. Lots of dim lights, bright and colourful posters, and a gargantuan, well-lit bar give the place a modern and welcoming ambience. The inside was jammed with patrons but, after calling ahead, we secured a comfortable booth in the dining area. Service was fast and helpful as our food and drinks arrived in reasonable time and the waitress informed me of the seasonal draughts from Sierra Nevada, Dogfish Head, and Samuel Adams. She also provided us with brief descriptions of the brewpub’s beers. If I recall correctly, the house selection includes the Piranha Pale Ale, P.M. Porter, Tatonka Stout, Nutty Brewnette, Brewhouse Blonde, Jeremiah Red, and Harvest Hefeweizen, among several others. There was no IPA on my visit, though surprisingly the bar carries a full range of high-end Belgian bottles. I paired my Buffalo Chicken Pizza with a Widmer Drifter Pale Ale and it proved to be a fantastic match. My girlfriend and parents enjoyed their appetizers and entrees and had no trouble procuring a couple wines of their liking. Four two-course meals and eight drinks came to $150 with tip, which is pretty fair in my books. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our experience here and I would probably visit BJ’s on a regular basis if I lived in the area. In addition to the house beers, they also offer various rotating taps from other breweries, so there’s a good chance that you’ll always find something different on tap. Awesome spot.
