(Visited March 2015) Nice pub, in old-fashioned brown wood. Quite a large place, with the bar to the right of the entrance, and drinking areas all around the bar. Service was friendly and efficient. Around 20 taps with a good mixtures of Finnish micros and imported beers, from around the world (mainly the traditional beer countries), of good quality. I visited on a Monday evening, so it was quite slow and far from crowded. Finnish ice-hockey play-offs on the TV. Definitely worth a visit, I’ll be back on a more busy evening.
English style-pub. This place has this kind of old and worn-out vibe. Stench of spilled beer and cider from last night welcomes me as soon as I enter. It’s a compliment. It shows me that people like to come here and drink more than just beer or two. It’s a feature what sterile modern "pubs" will never have. Fridges look bit empty, but they just opened so it’s obviously too early. And I see barman filling them with new beers as I drink my beer. Cozy. Will come back and recommend this place to others as well! Staff was bit sleepy but friendly.
Quite close to center of the Helsinki. Nice atmosphere of old English pub. Staff is friendly and have done their homework. I found this nice living room accidentally, but will come here more often. Tried there Real Ale for the first time. Fun.
Fairly close the center of the city, an English-style pub with a lot of craft beer on tap. Mostly from the UK and Finland, but there are a few Americans, Germans and Belgians too. A couple of real ale taps as well as one for cider. Knowledgeable staff who are friendly and talkative when they’re not too busy. Sometimes have live music fitting to the theme of the pub. Probably the most atmospheric of the craft places in Helsinki.
A great English style brown boozer in the centre of town. A great selection of draft ales from around Europe, great staff, good prices and solid wifi. A decent bottle selection too. What more could you ask for?
Very cosy english-style pub with about 20 beers on draught and 2 handpumped beers (proper real-ale). Very nice selection of local and international beers and good prices for helsinki. This has to be one of the best pubs in central helsinki for sure. Will be back here next time i’m around.
A nice bar with kind of a alternative rock feel to it. The interior is a bit rough. Staff is welcoming and knowledgeble. Price are a bit high. Cask ales and finish beers on tap. Really liked the music - a mix of soul, indie, rock and oldies!
Nice pub with a lovely patio. Great place to enjoy a sunny Sunday afternoon in Helsinki. Nice selection of beer and friendly staff. Nice selection of Finnish brew including the Malmgård Black Door H.O.D.A. 20th Anniversary. Wouldn’t mind going back here.
Nice beer pub with an impressive (~30) selection on tap. Despite their website saying "hundreds of beers on bottle", the bottle selection is very modest. However, the taps carry a long way also, and bonus for selling beers in 0.25 litre glasses, giving more way to try out new ones. Definitely a place to visit in Helsinki.
