Nice beer pub with an impressive (~30) selection on tap. Despite their website saying "hundreds of beers on bottle", the bottle selection is very modest. However, the taps carry a long way also, and bonus for selling beers in 0.25 litre glasses, giving more way to try out new ones. Definitely a place to visit in Helsinki.
This pub has been one of the best beer places in Helsinki for a long time. Lately, they have improved a lot. Many new beers are coming in and usually on tap. Bottle selection isn’t so impressive. This places is owned by an investment company that owns also two importing companies and the selection is mostly but not only based on their beers. Also they serve well conditioned cask ale and open early. Currently, Summer 2013, tickwise the best pub in Helsinki.
Cozy place with decent, variable beer selection and real ales on tap. Usually there’s plenty of available seats, especially compared to other bars in the central area of Helsinki. Definitely a place worth visiting.

My favourite place in central Helsinki, the feel of a proper pub with a more than interesting selection of stuff on tap. The house beer was rather nice.

A darkish English-style pub on a popular walking street in Helsinki. This used to be quite small and cramped, but they expanded it some time ago, and now there’s usually plenty of room to sit. A couple of real-ales, a set of standard taps, which feature not that uncommon brands. A selection of bottles too, from where you can find, at times, interesting brews. Usually quite quiet, but they do arrange events at times, which can fill up the place.

A medium sized place located near the central Helsinki. Tap selection has some Finnish microbreweries and changes pretty often. They serve real ale (and cider) as well. Bottle selection is quite similar to other places, and isn’t very large. Be sure to try out their massively hoppy house beer (Huvila/Malmgård H.O.D.A.) when you are visiting.
UPDATE: As of 2013 and 2014, they have improved their selection by quite a bit, and the service is a bit better nowadays.
