I really like this place, it has an unpretentious atmosphere and the selection speaks for itself. No complaints w/ the service even when it got busy. I think the beer is served a bit too cold, but that’s about my only beef.

On business in NYC. Visited Monday 20th November 17. Early evening and this place was buzzing, I got a table which made all the difference as I was knackered. The list was fantastic, I ordered the Hill Farmstead beers which were excellent, and a Pizza Boy imperial stout, all beers rated 100 on RB. The food was great, roast beef sandwich. A nice real fire going, young crowd, I was certainly in the upper age group, fantastic music also, life was good, Hill Farmstead DIPA, good music and food. This place was the best in my opinion of the places I went to in New York.

Small and crowded. Difficult to see whats on and difficult to get served. Was OK for kids in afternoon, beer range was decent. Samplers like all of NY pricy. but allround ok

Easily one of the best beer bars in Manhattan. Small, but cute and classic. 28 taps with an interesting mix of local stuff and guests. Visited during the impressive Other Half full tap take over and it was quite busy since afternoon. 7$/8oz for most of the pours. No food tasted.

Came there around noon and it was rather quiet and peaceful. Great tap list. Didn´t look at the bottle list, it was no need for that. Service good and prices quite fair (there are plenty of more expensive beer bars in NYC).

Visited on September 23, 2016, in the evening. The smallest of the four beer bars we have been on this New York City trip, but quite cosy in its typical pub atmosphere. Quite a good tap list, some are mostly pale ales. Plus there was two cask. Not a bad food menu, I had a roasted chicken sandwich, really good. Although there were no table service (past 3 PM), the service was fast and friendly. A nice unpretentious pub!

Probably one of the best beer bars I have ever been. And it scores it without big stridencies or flashing lights. A nice, clean and great atmosphere, with maybe the best service I have ever seen. There was one bar tender for around 30 people, both in the bar and tables. The place has the look of a pub, with a chimney and only one TV. A great variety of american craft beers, all fresh and perfectly served. Food is good. If I could I would wrap the place and take it to my town...
