I went there for lunch for the grand opening and was I impressed! The place is small (used to be where Rotellis was) but they pack a lot in for what they have. The selection is great with 16 beers on tap and a 20 foot long cooler section. They will let you mix and match bottles in 6 packs or buy 1 at a time from what I heard. The staff was very knowledgable and helpful. I think almost everyone working there down to the one who cooked my fries came out and asked what I was drinking and asked how I liked it. We needed this in this area. I could go on all day, but go see for yourself

Visited here in late October í16 while in the area for business. Small, little neighborhood bar and grille located in a suburban strip mall, no frills, but not tacky or barren. Good crowd for an early Wednesday evening. They have 16 beers on tap, a majority appear to be Western Pennsylvania craft. Great menu, a step above pub grub, sandwiches, burgers, wraps, entrees. I had a crab roll and it was top notch. Prompt service, friendly clientele. They also have a wall sized cooler full of beer - looked to be well stocked. Glad I stopped by.

Plenty of free dedicated parking. On the end of a small strip mall. Nice bar atmosphere, bar on the left after the coolers of bottle beer, and seating for eating on the right. Service was pretty good. I didnít see any bottle I wanted to try. They do 4 oz. individual samples of there tap beers starting at $1.50 and pricing are not listed ($2.50 for a local gose, a little high). I had the Italian stack sandwich which was quite good and pretty much going rate in price. They do a pretty good job in listing what beer is available on their website. I would go back.

The food was really good and there is a wide selection beyond the typical bar food. Try the triple seafood with Salmon, Swordfish and Shrimp. Whether on not you like the beer is up to the individuals preference. Nice variety of 16 on tap and many more to select from in bottles. A little on the pricy side. They wanted ~$13 for a 12 oz bottle of something I know I can get for around $6.00 elsewhere. Not as big as I thought it would be from the outside appearance. They do have an outside deck also but inside there are few tables and booths. Even if you donít drink, just go just for the food.

Located in the back area of a shopping center which means thereís plenty of parking. The restaurant is long and narrow with refrigerated bottles and a small bar on the left side and tables on the right. They had 16 mostly local and regional craft beers on draft and a typical Giant Eagle storeís selection in bottle. They didnít have a ton of stuff that was particularly rare or exotic but they had all the stuff youíd expect them to have. Service was laid back and friendly which helps give the place, despite itís tragic location, a neighborhood feel. The only caveat is that prices werenít really posted for the beers but they seemed average for PA.

A bar located in one of the strip malls in Robinson. However, it is a cute, cozy looking place, fairly small for what you might expect. Iím a little surprised at how high this place is rated. The draft list is short compared to other top bars in Pittsburgh. Most of the drafts are local beers - definitely a solid selection, but nothing particularly special. Although I did happen to visit when they had an infusion of East End Gary Fat Gary with chocolate fudge coffee beans...that was a tasty treat. I assume that they offer different infusions from time to time, which is pretty unique for the area. They also have brewery tasting sessions (mostly local, east coast breweries - Troegs, Coney Island, New Holland, etc). I didnít actually get to see the bottle list, though they do have quite a number of refrigerators filled with beer (standard stuff for the area though, it seemed). We didnít order any food, but it looked like they try to feature local meats and that sort of thing. Overall, a solid beer bar for sure , but I think it falls in the middle of the top 10 craft beer bars in the area, not at the top.

Stopped by here as its right next to my hotel. In a strip center, so parking is plentiful. Long and narrow place with a big cooler full of very expensive bottles, booths and a bar. Itís kind of hard to see everything thatís available from most of the bar, and I was overcharged on my beers. The food was over-priced (or under-portioned) and was average in quality. Enough of the bitching... I had a ton of questions for the bartender and he was incredibly helpful and friendly. I felt like I was getting the same service a regular would get. Tons of bottles with excellent selection of locals. and the tap list is also full of local beers. Thereís a lot to like here. I might be a regular if Iím ever a local.

Stopped up after a Steeler game. Decent bottle selection but pricey and mostly only 22s of anything really select. Taps had a few good craft beers too. The service was good but it wasnít that busy. I liked the bar.

The best thing here is the bottle selection. However, whether drinking there or taking out---pretty pricey. A 16 oz. can of Deviant Daleís: $9. Green Flash West Coast IPA: $7. Had to wait 30 min for a table, but itís a popular place in the western burbs. The food we had was definitely a notch below many beer bars/gastropubs, even ones with similar menus. Service was really pretty good; the waitstaff doesnít set the prices or cook the food! If I lieved near there, Iíd probably go occasionally, but not worth a special trip.

The beer prices are what youíd expect at any restaurant, but the difference at Bocktown is the selection. If Iím going to pay five bucks for a beer, I should at least get something better than a domestic, and at Bocktown, you can find a plethora of micros and imports both on tap (16 taps) and in their line up of fridges (4 or 5). The place was packed, but the service was friendly and asked if they could get me a beer while I waited for a table. That alone made the 45 minute wait tolerable. Considering it was a Saturday night and I then had a tasty beer in my hand, I didnít mind waiting at all.
