A very small brewery with bar in the Ardennes. This is the most artisanal brewery you can think of. The ambiance and the atmosphere are rustic, familiar, nice, not only in the tavern, but also in the brewery. Excellent, friendly service, Dany and the lady that was there were really nice. Two beers on tap, some bottles and some other non alcoholic beverages in the fridge. Lost in the Ardennes, not easily reachable, but a place that deserves a visit or more.

I made a trip to this brewery about 1 year ago. I had contacted Dany beforehand and he was available on a Sunday for a tour and tasting. I was the only "tourist" but his niece was there too. They were both very friendly and helpful as we all got around our broken English and French very smoothly.
We traded bottles and coasters and Dany was every bit the wonderful host. Highly recommended-email beforehand though.
An essential visit. Ramshackle and atmospheric in the best Belgian tradition. Beer is the excellent regular Fantome plus whatever weird concoctions are currently being brewed. Excellent service from Dany and his wife. Highly recommended. Be warned that the published opening hours are purely theoretical.
What a blast! It was great to meet Dany, the brew master, and listen to all his stories and anecdotes about his tiny brewery. Selection is just limited to fresh brews, which are oh-so delicious! It’s located in the middle of nowhere, but definitely worth the ride/search.
located in a village in the Ardennes which looks more French than Belgian, same goes a bit for the place which is very cosy, rustic & inviting, really a place where you could stay a long time, rather easy to find with the car because there a signs which guide you right to the place itself & you really cannot miss the ghost on the outside, there are two beers on tap, their regular saison & a rotating special which was the Magic Ghost when I was there, you can also get big bottle both to go & I assume to drink there if you want but not sure since I wanted to take mine with me, they had 3 different beers in bottles, Brise Bonbons, Pissenlit & the regular Saison, not much in the way of food except for sausages & cheese, service was nice, prices were good 2,5 for the beers on tap & 4 for the bottles, the places itself is very nice & the beers that they have a great but it could really benefit from a bigger selection but otherwise there is really nothing bad to say about this place

We dropped by late on a Monday afternoon and were lucky enough to sit down with Dany for a couple.
We were given a tour of the very ramshackle brewery and tried the "Classique" and "Summer Beer" off tap and were sent on our way with another bottle of the "Classique" and Fantôme de Noël.
Visiting the brewery is an exceptionally unique experience, even by Belgian standards.
A must of any Belgian trip if you travel even remotely close to the brewery.
Can’t believe I haven’t rated this place before. Dany is a very friendly, modest guy. Don’t go out of your way to visit this place, but if your in the neighbourhood, it’s something you have to see for yourself ;)
Odd little café which was very hard to find. It has a very down-to-earth, authentic atmosphere. They only had two regulars on tap, but both were very good. They did have the Christmas beer in bottles too. Great place to go and see if you’re in the neighborhood (visited April 19, 2014)

If you have visit planned with DanyP the place is great and you will need a car Only Fantome products are available and take them as they are sometimes stellar and sometimes not. The house saison was amazing the day I was there and hope you can speak French.
