Awesome beer store with an awesome owner who remembers you if you come back and good at helping you find new beers you’d like if you ask. Only criticism is it is very disorganized so hard to fine what you want.

Updated Rating: Ever since this place added the bar, there has been progressively less and less bottled beer available. Still some decent selection (including getting rarer beers), but it is getting pretty limited these days. This place is still a good one to check out, but there are definitely places with a lot better selection these days. Going to drop the score slightly.
Previous Rating: It doesn’t look like it from the outside, but this is a nice little bottle shop. A lot of different single bottles offered at this location. While there are places around Charlotte that may have a larger selection of bottles, this place has some of the best quality beers.
Brawleys is considered THEE place to go for the really good beer in Charlotte by the locals. I would have to agree with them on that assessment. The building is small but when you walk in, you may think that the place is a dump but the owners are really cool. The beers that they carry are the ones that no one else can seem to get. The atmosphere is totally upbeat and friendly. The quality of the selection that they carry is outstanding and the service is the best I have ever had. The selection of the place is decent but they are hampered by the lack of space, but they try to utuilize it as best as they can. The prices are reasonable and are appropriate for the selections that you are purchasing. Worth the Stop!
Looks small and dumpy from the outside, but somewhat better on the inside. They’ve managed to cram some quality beers into a rather small space. Service was really outstanding -- this guy knows his beer. Some singles available, but not more than a handful.
You can tell by all the single digit reviewers this place is definely benefitting from some home team scoring. The construction in the parking lot matters less than the fact that much of the shop was not particularly tidy. The selection is solid but I didn’t see much I haven’t seen at 20 other bottle shops in this state. It’s true the service is friendly and the prices are reasonable but a top 10 NC destination. Not a chance.
Passing through Charlotte, I just had to stop by and see what all the fuss was about. Dahyum! Michael knows his beers and even provided a weary traveller with a couple of hard to find gems! We traded info and will continue to trade beers long distance. Highly recommended !
This place has beers you won't find anywhere else in Charlotte. Hands down best beverage shop in the city, by far. Friendliest service of any retail space also. Very knowledgable staff, always a good recommendation if in need.
Mike is the sh@t for real. This guys is an OG in the Carolina beer scene, the first shop to open in the QC after the cap was popped in 2005. Big expansion is going on right now so big things for Mike and company soon. Always a friendly face and assistance available. Some of the rare releases will only be sold to regulars, but IMO thats how it should be at small shops. He only gets a very small amount of these beers, if you choose to by the rest of your beer at Harris Teeter and only come around for the one offs then good luck, support gives support end of story.
Not much to look at from the outside, but a very good selection of brews. The service was very good as well. The person who helped me seemed like a real craft beer nut and enjoyed his job, it showed....Well worth a stop when in town.
