Visited right after they opened at 3pm on a Thursday. Located in a neighborhood, on a small commercial corner. Nice outdoor seating, and a unique layout inside, with food up the stairs to the left, and the remaining seating and bar down the stairs to the right. The bar itself is metal, and great looking. 11 house beers on draft plus 1 guest cider. Also, located across the street from Bushwhacker Cider. Friendly service, solid happy hour prices.
76 = ★★★ (Worth the visit, must for locals, and visitors with time)
I only use the total score, not the component parts.
Was close by to the airport hotel so zimwent for a few brews. Somewhat small seating area but it was open to let the nice weather that was occuring in. About 12 beers on tap. Service was good. Would return.
GO here in the summer.
Building has an awesome exterior made for beautiful Oregon summers. Beers are all excellent have about 8-10 taps of their own brews. Interior ambiance is pretty dismal, lots of echoing not much to view. Went here for their Safe Word!
Staff is awesome
Beer is awesome
Food is awesome
One of the best breweries in Portland! If you like excellent beer and great food this is the place for you.
This location is only slightly out of the way, but it doesnít take much to get there from downtown, as a point of reference. The ambiance is your standard brewpub. Thereís nothing exciting going on here as far as looks are concerned. However, where they win in the beer and the service. Iíve had a couple of duds from Breakside, but most of their beers are awesome. Their Breakside IPA absolutely delicious. Their Passionfruit Sour is phenomenal. The food here is decent - nothing great, but nothing even remotely close to bad. Iíve always had spectacular service while here. The waits on a busy Friday night can be harsh, as a few family-type folks flock here, as they are kid friendly. All in all, itís a great place, and you should definitely make the visit, but if youíre visiting from out of town, donít spend too much time here.
Restaurant area, bar area and patio all which get really busy. Service is good but again really busy so no real time to spend on us. Selection is good with some weird beers just on tap. Tasters available. A bit out of the way, but if you like their beers a good stop.
Though their selection is not huge I gavie it a 5 because they have a great selection of their own excellent beer.
Wold Class beer served up in an establishment with a neighborhood feel.
Value: For what you get their beers are an extreme value. For $4 a bomber or $12/ 64 oz Growler you can take home the American IPA that beat out over 275 for the gold at the 2104 GABF. That is by far the most competitive category at the worlds largest double blind competition.
Food: Havenít tried it, but it looks good. The pizza place in the same building has Portlandís best calzones.
