Small bar close to the middle of Edinburgh. Was very busy when I went but was still easy to get the attention of a bartender, service was good. Finding a seat is near impossible during prime times unless you get lucky. Beer list was decent and had a lot of their own plus some locals and seasonals from other breweries. Worth checking out if you are in the area, but nothing amazing.

Smallish BrewDog, and quieter than most. Keeps to its post-apocalyptic industrial look quite well, and of course there’s the beer selection. 8 BD and 7 guests, with a couple of their recent collabs available, and a few beers left over from the recent Moor takeover. And the music is better than most. Not my fave in the chain but I had a good time here.

Industrial looking, not too big, can get crowded. Just a short walk away from the Royal Mile. Selection was pretty good, some pilot brews from Brewdog and interesting guest beers, Stone and Dieu du Ciel among them. Decent amount of bottles. Prices are a bit high, but I guess that’s expected. Worth visiting.

Taking a battering during the festival with uriniferous toilets showing a bit of flag. Still a great range of now often hideously expensive beers. The problem with shifting the market is that you have to stay brilliantly abreast of it. I await the arrival of Traquair House ale and some guid auld fangled stuff.

Nice place, although I wasn’t as impressed as I thought I’d be. We tried visiting with a kid during lunch time (the place was calm) but was told kids weren’t allowed due to them lacking a certain license or something such. Annoying. I later visited myself, and the tap list was half BrewDog, half Dieu du Ciel. There were a few DdC I hadn’t tried, so that was nice. Didn’t look at the bottle list so can’t comment on that, but the BD stuff was fairly standard fare. Already at 4 PM, the place was crowded, with lots of the patrons quite drunk.

The place is quite nice and lively inside (doesn’t look so from the outside). Brewdog beers on tap (like 7 or so ) and a few more. Worth checking it out).

Nice ’little’ bar with lots of taps. Very good ambiance. Good to stay an evening and get wasted (by which I mean drink responsible).

We have visited the Edinburgh outpost of BrewDog on numerous occasions. It is well located down on the Cowgate. Inside it is actually pretty small, or perhaps that reflects how busy the bar usually is. Feels a bit grimier/ rougher around the edges that the other BD bars. They offer 14 draught lines with two-thirds BrewDog to one third guests (one of the poorer ratios around). Expect a rather unique bottle selection and pretty tasty beers in general. A good addition to the Edinburgh beer scene for sure, but it sits towards the lower end of BrewDog bars for me. If I happen to be in the area I will stop past, but I much prefer the likes of Hanging bat/Cloisters/Bow Bar etc.

A once-interesting place that has gone down and starting to come back up again. Unfortunately it’s not really targeted towards me (or the ticker crowd) anymore as the draught selection is largely Brewdog’s core beers, a couple less common Brewdog beers, and maybe 5 guests if you are lucky. Often guest beers will sit for a couple of weeks but rotation has been a bit better lately. The staff are ever changing so service varies. Bottle selection is quite vast but can be ridiculously overpriced. Only had food on a couple occasions but been underwhelmed especially with the high cost.
