Great bar. Aventinus, Celebrator, Brooklyn Seasonals, Terrapin, and others on tap downstairs. Sweet, very well-stocked Belgian bar upstairs. Cantillon FouFoune, Girardin Gueuze Black Label, Rochefort and dozens of others available. Wunder and I ordered up a mini Flemish Red tasting. Great ambiance all-around. Accessibility by bus is a plus.

This is a model on what a craft beer pub should be. You have the brick, the wood, and the excellent choices on the beer menu (upstairs and down). It has a small town feel since it’s located on a side street with some shops, etc. The food was also excellent. I had the "Shepard’s Daughter Pie ($8.95)" which helped absorb several of the beers I had. Dave the owner is a great guy and takes time to hang with his customers. A must visit for anyone in or visiting the Atlanta area! It doesn’t get much better than this! Don’t forget to go "upstairs and to the left!"
An absolute must visit for beer lovers on a trip to Atlanta. There are 2 bars one upstairs which has 7-8 Belgian drafts and countless in bottles and a downstairs main bar where there are some darn good micros on draft and in bottles. The food was excellent and so was the service, but I am all about the brews, brother, and this joint has them.

This is a very nice place. They have pretty good food, great beer, and a very nice atmosphere. A great place to go for dinner or lunch. Love visiting this place.
Good food - some selections of pub fare, some yuppy european fare, and some southern comfort food, too. Beer selection is fantastic - not as many drafts as other big "beer" bars (like Taco Macs and Summits locations that have 100+ taps), but a decent number of taps - and lots of selection in bottles. They have an upstairs bar that is dedicated to Belgian and Belgian-style beers that has the best selection of such beers that I’ve ever come across. Prices are decent, servers are friendly, and the place is very cool inside - old loft style w/ exposed brick, rough-hewn wood, and fancy&clean bathrooms... Favorite pub in Atlanta, for sure.
The sole reason I may move to Decatur,Ga someday. Awesome atmosphere real old and cozy with brick and wood everywhere. Very crowded place in what seems to be a busy nightspot area. Probably the best tap lineup I’ve ever seen, there may have only been one or two taps I’ve actually saw before everything else I’ve never saw on tap, very solid bottle lineup some real rare stuff in there. I will be back here someday it’d be worth taking a trip just to drink here.
This place rivals any place you might choose to go get a beer, as far as atmosphere, passion and forethought of selection. It actually reminded me a lot of Monk’s in Philly from the masculine wood decor to the very packed crowd all with great beer in hand.
Saw 2000 Lou Pepe Guezu, Kriek and Framboise. Enjoyed the 2000 Gueze, from a bottle and had Gonzo and Celebrator on draft and saw many others I’d like to have tried. Didn’t eat, but the food looked good and I got some first hand reports that it was solid.
When considering places like this I ask myself what kind of bar would these people have IF they were to open NEXT to an exisiting bar like say Spuyten Duyvil, Akkurat or another world class bar and I don’t doubt for a second that if they could legally bring in the beers the aforementioned places can that the folks at the Brick Store would create a bar to equal either. Very nice place owned and operated by people who care.

This is one of the best places in the SE to get a beer. The pub food was excellent. The fish n’ chips, humus, stew, and shepards pie are all good. Chees plates rotate and usually have excellent offerings. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. Always great stuff on tap.
Nice pub. Every beer you order comes in its own glass. Very nice. Ok draft selection of West Coast and German brew. Follow the stairs on the left side of the bar to expirence the Belgian Bar. Good number of taps. HUGE number of bottles. It is almost intimidating home much beer they offer. The upstairs feels like an underground cellar. Very quaint. A must see for BEER TOURING in ATL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love this place for the beer. My wife hates this place because of the food. We have fights about it. I win. Go here, get incredible beers. Stuff you wouldn’t try unless you were upstairs in their finely crafted belgian style beer bar complete with exposed brick and and wood ceiling beems.
