Finally visited to meet some Decatur-area friends on the way back to ATL (it’s kind of pain to get to from just about anywhere). It really is a nice place, very ’Brussels Bar’ kind of feel to it. Food was outstanding, tap list, though it didn’t have anything extremely unusual, was REALLY well chosen and solid, and the bottle llist is extensive. IMO, It’s the best beer bar in Atlanta. Maybe the Southeast. World Class? not sure about that, but it’s worth seeking out if you’re anywhere nearby.

Visited here in mid-February ’17 while in town visiting my son. Great place, rustic old pub feel to it with lots of brick. Rotating tap list with some very eclectic offerings, Swedish Gose for instance. The bottle list is amazing, tons of aged beers and lots of verticals, some priced in the $100s. Food is typical pub grub, pretty solid, but not extensive, the focus is more on the beer. Some place that any beer geek should visit once in their life.

Yes, it is that good. The first aroma I get is the scent of pine, but that’s from the Christmas decorations that add a festive air to this dark, quirky and atmospheric bar. They’ve got 21 beers on tap - on my festive visit divided into ’Holiday beers’, ’US craft’ and ’Foreign draft’. That’s not counting the 8-tap Belgian bar upstairs. Quite a few bottles and cans, but the cherry on the cake is the ’cellar flight’: aged beers from 2007 to 2014, served in very small measures (4 for $20). Basically, they get beer, and they get us. Ticking, drinking and being paradise. As perfect as we will get in this universe.

A fantastic stop a little ways outside downtown Atlanta was well worth a late night visit. The only major downside was that they would not do sample or half pours and you could only order one beer at a time. That said the selection was on par with the best bars that I have been to. The interior even has a nice faux Belgian feel that is only broken by the sounds of Georgia traffic. If you only manage to get to one place in town this wouldn’t be a bad choice.

Always a pleasure to come in on Saturday and have a St. Bernardus here. Amazing selection and friendly staff. Just wish it was a bit less crowded sometimes.

Plenty of seating for dining. 20 or so spots at the bar. Selection is not the biguest, but incredibly good. Food was incredible as well. Service was professional and efficient. Upstairs has a whole other bar and dining area. Feels like a good place to hide.

A great beer bar with a nice cellar feel. A few rooms to the place with lots of brick and dark wood. Place can be a bit tight. Service is very good and staff is well versed in beer. Tap list is strong (especially for Belgians) with a few other taps and a great bottle selection. Food is quite solid and prices aren’t bad either. One of the better beer bars I’ve been to.

Top of the line food, atmosphere, service, and of course, beer. Likely best bar/restaurant I have ever been to. Truly worthy of any hype. Amazing cellar selection. I cannot wait to return

A nice place in the centre of Decatur. There are around 20 taps with USA beer and about eight with beer from Belgium. (Visited 20 February 2014).

Very cool place in Decatur. Gorgeous, roomy place, really the antithesis of Porter in this sense; big huge room is the main bar, with a small, more cozy (Belgian oriented?) second bar up the stairs. A bit Southern hipster, with art skateboards and such on the walls, but killer list, food looked legit... not much to complain about. Good things.
