Brewpub and restaurant located in one of the few old pre-war neighborhoods still standing. Nice old interior with soft music. Pretty quiet when we were there on a Saturday night. 6 of their own beers on tap and a few bottles. Friendly service though not particularly knowledgeable. Nice to visit if youíre in the Rotterdam area but the beers are nothing to go out of your way for. I will go here again though as a good friend lives just a few minutes from here. Prices are a bit below average for the area though still not really cheap, especially since they only have beers brewed by themselves on the premises.
Cozy, old-fashioned brewpub with lots of wooden interior, located at the beautiful Delfshaven, an area everyone should visit when in Rotterdam. In the summer, it is possible to sit outside either in front of the house or in the courtyard. Six of their beers are on tap, accompanied by a few bottles. For five euro you can order a tasting plank with five of their tap beers (be aware that the glasses are just shot glasses though), while it is possible to order their beers in three different sizes. Staff is quite friendly and maybe a bit slow but if youíre not in a hurry itís more than okay. Prices are average, even though the beers are brewed over there. The quality of the beers is decent but this place is more about atmosphere.

We (me, dad and Barry) visited Pelgrim on Sunday 15th March 2015. Another bar in the really nice area of Delfshaven. I guess many Ratebeerians would question my sanity, why you may ask? Well we visited on a Oak Aged Beer Festival day but didnít attend the beer festival being held here. There were about forty beers from the likes of De Molen, Emelisse, Het Uiltje and of course Pelgrim themselves and we chose to sit in the bar and drink the standard/core Pelgrim beer, firstly we didnít really fancy a load of barrel aged impy stouts just yet, and secondly we wanted to visit a lot of other places. Pelgrim was a nice bar, lots of wood, it looked old but well looked after, the barman was very helpful and knew his stuff. We all ordered the flight of beers for Ä5, I liked the Dubbel best, but overall I am a little underwhelmed by Pelgrim beers. I would happily return here but for a better atmosphere I preferred the Cafť de Ooievaar and the other bar we visited. Btw as you enter this place turn right for the bar and seating, and the window seats look out to the old harbour (I think thatís what we are looking at) though the view is better at Cafť de Ooievaar.
Visited june 2009. Nice spacy brewpub, with outdoors seating as well. Very nice building in a lovely part of Rotterdam. Easy to find, parking within walking distance. Friendly staff and a nice selection of beers on tap. Think they do food as well, we didnīt eat there..
Visited on a national holiday. Nice authentic looking brewpub in one of the nicest parts of Rotterdam. Patio in the front watches over the old Delfshaven harbor and the old buildings in the street. It was a nice sunny day, so we sat outside, later on we moved to the courtyard. So, nice settings aside, the beers were decent and reasonably priced, service friendly but incredibly slow and totally oblivious of the needs of their customers, the house cat came to check on us more often than the staff did. Didnít try the food, but the menu looked good. The setting and beers will certainly make me visit this place again.
This place was very quiet on a snowy Sunday evening. Set in a nice harbor area of a small village that was engulfed by Rotterdam. Six beers on offer, five of them available as a tasting flight for five euro. They were decent enough. Tasty food too
The only brewpub in Rotterdam, situated in charming Delfshaven, one of the few historic neighbourhoods in the city. Good beers, nice location, but for some reason not as cosy as it should be. Maybe the locals are not so interested? Staff is good, although I had one bad experience whith a tired waiter complainig about the weather and everything else. Still an obligatory stop in Rotterdam, the beers are worth the metro ride!
