Great shop, stopped in while heading up to St. Louis. They have a lot of things we can’t get in Texas, and they still had Boulevard Love Child #2 (so I grabbed a bottle). They have a food section, but I didn’t look. And they have a lot of wine, and friendly staff.
This place is about an hour drive from my home and well worth the drive! They have a large build-a-six-pack selection of small bottles (3-bottle minimum) and a large bomber section with beers from all over the world. I was told that they keep over 1,000 beers in rotation! Not only do they have a massive selection of beer, but they also have awesome imported cheeses from around the world to pair with all that good import beer. They have a nice glassware selection as well. My wife and I have spent over two hours in a single visit just browsing! Beer tastings on Friday afternoons and wine tastings on Saturdays. They do an awesome job with their facebook page by letting you know what’s new and what’s going on in the store. Awesome place!
The best place to buy craft beers in Springfield. Great selection with generally reasonable prices. Not likely to find a lot of the truly interesting stuff cold, but I don’t think you’ll find that anywhere else in Springfield either. Can’t speak much to the staff’s knowledgeability, but they are much friendlier than many of the other Brown Derby stores.
Exquisite ambiance, very good service, incredible selection of craft beer in addition to its reputed wines (found many great picks that I couldn’t find at my local Macadoodle’s in Joplin), excellent value, tremendous store all-around.
Great place to pick up beer. They pretty much have anything that gets distributed to the area. Always some kind of deal worth picking up. Love this place.

This is the best place to buy beer in Springfield, hands down. They have a very helpful staff, and even have beer tastings on occasion. They have been working very hard to expand their beer selection, and it shows. JoeinUccle is absolutely right about double checking the cooler. The beer aisle has a generous selection, but there are a number of gems in the cooler that are not in the aisle.
Stopped in during a drive through MO on a Friday and was very, very blown away. Not only does this place carry just about every beer made in the South and Southwest, they also have a really good quality restaurant and wine bar inside (and some awesome wines). Yes, most of the beer is sitting on the shelves, but with this massive of a selection, that’s just how it goes. As said, they do have ALOT of cooler space as well. Not going to find anything rare here, but they have a lot of mid-tier stuff on the rarity scale. Looks like the Perennial selection was pretty well picked over, but they still had 6-7 different beers from Perennial. Saw a bunch of different Bells, including Expedition and Oracle. Anyways, I was quite impressed and I spent 3 years with Julio’s as my local, so I feel like I have a decent perspective. I also was asked about 4 times if I needed help, so no complaints there.
