Came here 22.11.2017. A very dark purp with a nice decoration. Did not have any of their own beers, some good guest beers from e.g Deschuttes or Sweatwater. Not a bad place but boxing special either.

After hearing about this place for over 15 years from my daughter and son in law, I was able to swing by here for a business lunch today. Wow, why didn’t I come here earlier? This is a place hard to define. It is multifaceted and cavernous, literally, the "Catacombs" were built in a limestone cavern below the tavern. For lunch I had a very good Reuben sandwich and some cole slaw. My friend had an appetizer of wings, and these wings were huge and they filled him up! They have some very nice, nationally known, quality beers on tap, but I thought that I would try the local ones. I chose well, two of this months selections- the Peat smoked Scotch", and the "Imperial IPA". Both are well worth trying. Our server Ra erin really knows the menu and the beers. She was a big help. Afterwards the General Manager Sam took us for a nice behind the scenes tour. They own the hotel next door and they have some nicely themed , romantic get away rooms. They have a really cool biergarten outside too! They have all kinds of spaces for special events. I am thinking of asking to have my retirement party here, and I live 60 miles away!

OK, first of all, this place is apparently pronounced "boobies." I know. It’s in an ancient building smack in the middle of a storybook-cute town. You enter into almost complete darkness, with a sign reading "catacombs," then staff pop out of the darkness to direct you to the biergarten. And what a biergarten it was - under the shade of a huge oak tree and some tall bamboo, with lots of tables with umbrellas, as well as an outside bar. Staff have to come from inside the cave/interior to serve you, though, so service was slightly slow, but in such a beautiful setting on a gorgeous day, I didn’t mind. Only two of their beers were on, both barely passable, and a dozen guests, half of which were macros. No flights when I visited. Oh well. Food was very tasty. I would return, just not for the beer. Hopefully they’ll up their game as craft beer takes hold in town.

Oh man I loved this place. Visited in the late spring/early summer. The seating is split indoor and outdoor, with bars to sit at both inside and outside as well. We sat at the outside bar. The outside area had plenty of seating, a real laid back vibe, and some dude playing chill adult contemporary acoustic stuff on guitar. 6 house beers available to try the day we visited with flights of 5 available for.... $10 i think? I dunno, it was reasonable. If you’re trying to tick 12 new beers or get the best beer within 50 miles, this isn’t the place for you. But friendly service, good enough beer, and a downright awesome space for a brewpub make for a dope ass time in my book. It looks to me like they have a good rotation with not a lot of repeat offerings, so I definitely plan on visiting again in the future.

First visit to Bube’s and I had a great time. Was there for a quiet monday lunch. Great atmosphere...old and warm with hardwood and stone...cant wait to visit in the spring/summer and check out the beer garden. I was pleasantly suprised by the quality of their house beers and though i didnt order any, they had some decent guest taps/bottles. My burger and baked beans were tasty and the menu looks good. Service was excellent! Corrinne the bartender and Dan the cook were awesome and chef Anthony was fun as well. Great people/great place!:

Great appearance from the outside reflrecting an Old World brewery. Love the old world look inside. It is very rustic with lots of dark wood and minus the flash. Food was good at a fair price and they had a nice selction of beer. I sampled the dunkleweizen, chocolate porter, blonde bock and scottish ale and they were all quite good.

Um, where do I start? A German pub with sand, beach umbrellas, surf music, and a bartender in board shorts, a Hurley t-shirt, and straw hat. The beers were about as confused as the place itself.

This place was not at all what I was expecting and I’m still not sure if that’s a good thing or not. From the outside, the place looks like an old German beer house. Once inside that all changed.... Went to the right under a narrow archway into what looked like the bar area. What we found was basically Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville. The entire floor was covered in sand, so all the tables and chairs sat down in the sand with giant beach umbrellas and palm trees filling out what little space was there to begin with. Bartender knew next to nothing about beer and was hardly attentive, but he fit in well with a straw hat and board shorts. House beers were just okay, but they did home some stuff on the brew schedule that sounded good. Only came for beer, so I didn’t check out the food menu.

Pronounced boobies. This is a really cool place. Lots of atmosphere, nifty beers and good food. Glad I stopped here. Get the short tour of the candle lit caverns. One of the oldest breweries, even served beer as an underground speakeasy during prohibition. How cool is that? Chris our server was just plain freindly. Lovely dining experience, even with family in tow. Sampled 5 of their on site brews for $5. Nice sized samples too. We ate upstair in the beirgarten but if you want to spend some cash, you can eat 50 foot down under in the candle lit caverns.
