I had a small but tasty lunch in this Budvar pub. Most of their beers were on tap. I had the 10%. It was a good beer to have on a very hot day. Most everyone else in the place was Czech, not surprising since it is off the tourist trail. A good place to try Budvar if you are staying near the area.

Ok, they have all the Budvar beers on draft, but the poor service and hefty prices really make it a place when you absolutely must have a krouzkovany Budvar.

restaurant in Dejvice, near tube A Dejvická station, Luxury rest for richer people, All beers from 35-40 crowns, daily menu for good price. Normal eat is in average high price than normal, but high quality. All beers dantastic, especially Tmavý(dunkel, dark) and Kroužkovaný(Yeasts) and of course clasic Budweis lager. Good preaty pub.!

Nice and friendly bar and restaurant north of the Prague Castle. Slightly off the beaten tourist track. Good selection of Budvar beers, but not much else. Tried the Dark and the Krouzkovany, they were very well handled. Friendly and efficient service. Good and price worthy food.

Not worth going out of your way for, perhaps, but this was in Evan Rail’s book and very convenient for my hotel. Three Budvars on tap, including the magnificent yeast beer. Some grat snacky food, too, potatoes with stinking cheese.

This was our found dinner spot on our walk back to the hotel from Prague Castle. the Keilbasa and fried cheese were spot on. Budvar dark on tap and served with gusto. The English Menus were a great help but the wait staff were also quite fluent. I was able to pick up some nice souveniers at the display case. It seems there are a number of these scatered about the Republic including the home source of Ceske Budovice. We returned here for dinner twice since the food was so good. We also got to watch a bit of a baseball game until someone requested the soccer match. A fine place for a few pints of the quentisential Czech brew.
